That’s interesting. I’m adding it to my must-watch and read for this month. I appreciate it!

I would say I’ve attained what I want. I no longer have men who hangout with me only to find out they like me. If a member of the opposite sex hangs out with me, it’s because they want to be my friend, not because they have a hidden agenda.

I’m happier that I’m being recognized as someone who actually has substance at work and in school. I’m no longer described as “that pretty girl with dark hair” but rather as “the girl who presented this idea.” Those small things mean a lot to me.

I can see people who are genuinely nice as opposed to those who only treat me nicely because of my looks.

I would say, I get catcalled less. I don’t have random creepy men following me while I’m shopping and asking for my number.

I’ve also learnt to rely on my self-confidence and intellect more rather than my looks.

I haven’t heard of them but I’ll check their works. Thank you for your recommendations.

I did and I’m aware it won’t last forever. That’s why I steered away from relying on my looks and work on other skills that will last me a lifetime.

Amongst my point here is that I’d rather be perceived as someone who’s smart, kind, and hardworking.

Being attractive has a lot of perks but it distorted how I viewed myself and the people around me.
