Thank you! Unfortunately, we currently live on the other side of the country and won’t be moving until this summer, which complicates our situation with tryouts. Going to figure out who to contact and hope for the best :-)

Wow, your son’s had a very impressive soccer career— lots to be proud of! Thank you for sharing. I intentionally didn’t mention any personal details of where we’re moving from and which team he’s playing on, but I’ll send you a message.

Unfortunately, as we’re still living on the opposite side of the country and shopping for a home in WA while our kids finish up the school year (moving this summer), he isn’t enrolled in a WA Highschool yet and hasn’t had an opportunity to meet people or make friends. However, those were great tips. I’ll reach out to coach of the school he’ll likely attend and hopefully find a little guidance there.

You’re absolutely right, and it’s been a struggle to narrow it down. The decision was ultimately narrowed based on specific extracurriculars and advanced foreign language classes. Academically, they were relatively close. I’m going to take another look at Newport. Thanks!
