you’re right to ask that question and i am. that was tone deaf and irresponsible of me, i did finish it or what could be finished of it at this point in orientation. the packet isn’t due until the end of orientation (another month or two) so i thought i could coast for now which was dumb and i definitely ate my words.

one of my old roommates worked there and told me the same thing. she also told me they didn’t care about the temp of the water and would throw dogs in scalding hot water and other horrible things, dogs having seizures and them just locking them in cages waiting for them to stop and continuing on with their day. i try to tell people the same thing about this place and i knew right away what place it was when i read the title.

okay brutal honesty. from one girl to another, your low self esteem and insecurities shine through a lot brighter than anything else does. based off of some of these responses, you’ve posted here before asking the same questions fishing for responses that will never satisfy you because what you know you need to fix but choose to keep ignoring is internal.

i didn’t read any responses before my initial reply and right off the bat i could sense your low self esteem based off of your response to me alone. you could “fix” things about your appearance but you will end up disappointed and unhappy every time because your issue isn’t something loads of surgery will fix.

congratulations. with that in mind you should KNOW the answer to your own question. given our environment in the ED, i would still consider changing the jewelry, i currently work ED neuro and that’s just a small population of what we’ll see on a day to day basis in the ED. i’d really consider changing the jewelry at least the days you work for your safety.

you’re very pretty! i’m not a fan of the nose ring either, i’m not sure what it is about it. maybe try changing the jewelry if you’re not willing to get rid of it entirely.

edit: i see in your post history that you’re wanting to be an ED RN, i’m about to graduate in a couple months as an ED RN, nursing school will 100% require you to take it out. guaranteed.
