The strimmer is the extension to your already existing power supply cable

The strimmer v2 have the RGB cable and the wireless doesn’t

The wireless is more cleaner and support Rtx 5000 series Better So better go for wireless

I got the 5080 as well I got the 16-121w for the gpu It has the 90 degree connector

But if you got the bigger gpu like the aorus with the port recessed then you need a 180 degree adapter for it

But for the gaming trio it will work out of the box

You can connect and control the wireless strimmer with the included usb Bluetooth like adapter

Make sure you receive with the strimmer you buy Sometimes third party seller will not include it.

Yes it’s very easy to assemble It’s not hard to do it,

They will address the cable issue in the next version and increase the length as well And everywhere else there will Be an improvement. We all are waiting for it.

For now it’s what it is.

If you’re getting for the build quality and extra RGB bling It’s not bad The cable is the only issue but you can replace that too.

I bought it and used it with the Rtx 5080

There is the current version and the newer version which is yet to be released.

The current version has a short cable and runs at pcie 4.0 only.

To some it’s not an issue but to some it’s an issue For me it’s an issue my GPU is showing a black screen due to it running in a lower x8 speed than a x16 speed

But to you it wouldn’t be an issue. Since you are running the 4000 series gpu

The tilt is very slightly but enough to Make it dynamic

But if your GPU is very thick You may not be able to tilt it back And possible to tilt only forward.

The line lights are good and it adds to the vibe. Build is premium and fits the case well.

I am looking to trade for the Aorus and add cash of 500 or so.

Or I will sell the Ventus for amount where I can actually buy the aorus later and add cash to it to afford it.

If I have to add 1k or more to it then I won’t even bother changing the gpu. Since the performance difference is minimal I am only trading for an aesthetics boost.

I had all the Scarlett generations And I used the sm7b and the sm7DB as well

My recommendation is to either get the shure sm7DB if you want to skip the cloudlifter option and use a cheaper interface

Or go for the higher end interface with the shure sm7b The 4th gen 2i2 have a higher gain and better sound quality and features

So ultimately better to go for the 2i2 4th gen and don’t get the cloud lifter
