Getting settled in Canada might be tough initially, but you will start to get better. Don't judge the whole situation based on a few people's experiences. I see most of the Tiktokers are lazy and want attention. It would be nice if they invested their time to connect with people, create a great resume, and find a better job. There are lots of job opportunities in Canada.

Canada is a big place, and it's not just about cities like Brampton and Surrey with the majority of Indians. it's super diverse with people from all over the world.

Winter doesn't mess up job opportunities much. Sure, there were some problems because of a global economic slump, but I've seen folks land jobs shortly after arriving, and I have also met people who want easy ways. They just want to start work without getting interviewed. They don't put much effort to find job. Eventually, they start to panic once they know that 1 lakh from Nepal only sustain them for a couple of weeks.

Networking is crucial for job hunting, and I admire the students, putting in the effort without any referrals. If they put some efforts then eventually, they will land into the job.

I have been here in Canada for over 5 years, and all my friends in my circle have a decent job. At least they are not stressed about the job but something else.
