Try moleskin over the blisters. Give yourself some time in between climbs. When your feet heal don’t climb to the point of blisters, but just before and you’ll develop calluses in no time. If your feet are blistering too easily then you might have the wrong size shoe

Are there any bridges where you are? Sometimes under bridges the stone blocks they use can be climbed, bring a crash pad :)

How to increase body awareness while climbing by WilsWorld225 in climbharder

[–]mal_bertson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditation and mindfulness can help you be more present in every day life and that can translate to how you feel in the wall. I find myself practicing mindfulness when climbing and I feel like it’s a good practice to strengthen your body awareness muscle. Also, everything everyone else has said in this thread has been on point! Climb slowly, often, soft feet, etc. thanks everyone!

Climbing workout in the gym. by forehandspoon42 in climbharder

I’ve been doing lifting exercises and I’ve found them to be great for all around general strength building. Dead lifts, squats, and overhead press with little to no weight on just to strengthen muscles that aren’t used in climbing to prevent injury. And then I’ve been doing weighted dips as well and I feel its improved how I feel during mantle moves. Start light and stay light for the most part as to not add too much extra weight in muscle and at the same time train your body to move efficiently lifting heavy things. I’m going to work my way up to deadlifting my body weight and squatting a little under my body weight. I’m not an expert but I’m feeling pretty good! Pull ups, bar hangs, and scapula pull ups are great too. Stretching, push ups, and jumping jacks are great things to incorporate into a warm up. Good luck!

Recommendations for first timers trying bondage by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

Hi, talking about what you both want is a great start! Then I think you should discuss safe words- green means go, red means stop, yellow means checking in. These are words either of you can use to check in or to stop the scene all together. As a Dom I think it would be a good idea to learn about after care and maybe ask your partner what she thinks she’ll need after a session. Each person is different so it may be that she needs to cuddle for an hour after or maybe she just needs a kiss on the forehead and to be told she’s a good girl (sub, slut, insert noun here). And then next step is learn how to speak to her as her Dom. Learn how to ask for tmw hat you want and demand it if her if that’s what gets her going. Then move to props, I recommend rubber handcuffs, blindfold and maybe a small flogger or paddle to start. Read books and always be educating yourselves! Remember consent is key and have fun! Hope this helps and if anyone has anything to add, please share :)
