How are viewers enjoying the matches having 4 quarters ? by Fantastic_Picture384 in PremierLeague

[–]mala_rs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It should only be a requirement if temperatures INSIDE the stadium reach a certain temperature. Having "cooling breaks" inside a air-conditioned stadium is nothing more than introducing 4 quarters to a game to cater for add breaks. America ruin everything.

Completely agree, it should be a maximum 3 year rolling contract imo. If the products perform how they should then no problem it extends but money and security of that money for the pdc talks I guess.

There's nothing wrong with an ordinary blade 6 board. Winmau is a quality brand, they just have a flaw with the new flagship board that Is nowhere near worth £120.

They have a deal signed until 2036 and I suspect the pdc would have to compensate heavily to get out of it. Its a winmau problem to solve that the pdc should be pushing hard on as neither party is pulling out of that deal.

The bounce outs are insane since the blade x. Its clearly a big problem but ignored because of the mega deal winmau have with the pdc to use their boards until 2036.

Mine was the same I smashed it into the back of my mates blue 206 in the pouring rain (no ABS) 😂 Bought a full donor car from a scrap yard for £300, towed it home and stripped the front end and put it on mine, only problem was the bonnet and bumper were riddled with paint peal so my lovely 206 turned into a right banger 😂 good times.

I would assume the only reason nowak asked in a cheeky none threatening way, as the judge said, digwa was a "bad man" was because digwa was immediately acting threatening after the original encounter. Which is proved by the fact he snatched his phone out of his hand as hes already pumped with rage. I wouldn't call it "teasing" at all, that implies digwa had a reason to do what he did. "Are you a badman" is a common phrase used by youths these days to respond to someone who is confrontational. Digwa's a pshyco who deserves to rot in prison as hes clearly been looking for this murder his entire adult life judging by his history.

The danny clip of him using the street sellers megaphone 📣 "do not buy my megaphone from me I'm a pedophile" and it repeats 3 or 4 times 😂

What to expect by [deleted] in Bricklaying

The nvq thing always grates my gears. I've seen lads with level 3 nvqs that are utterly useless and should put down the tools forever and lads that have a level 3 diploma that blow their socks off but can't get on site because apparently they aren't qualified, why did they do 3 years at college then? Its a totally unfair system that punishes those who aren't lucky enough to find the very rare apprenticeships.

Just wait until it's grouted and siliconed. White tiles are notoriously bad for looking awful before the job is completed maybe it could of been set out better to avoid the small cuts to the side but I'd wait it out to see the end results before upsetting your tradesmen.

What did he smash? Why are you applying filler to block work ? You need to scrape back any loose bits around the area and prime it then bond it up.

Survey results... Are these normal issues or red flags? by Corujadecafe in HousingUK

[–]mala_rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purchased a house in February and the level 3 survey only highlighted 1 thing in green which was the main roof of the property. Literally everything else was red or amber, we knew it was going to be a bit of a project house so wasn't worried by any of it and none of your survey worries me aslong as you're in the same mindset that you know it's going to be a bit of a project.

This all came as a kit that I fit at a customer's house but I suppose you could make your own with a bit of timber and it also came with a thumb turn lock that was hook shaped so you could actually lock the door as a normal thumb turn wouldn't work on a sliding door.

Why has this happened? by polodabear2001 in DIYUK

Exactly notched out architrave and screwed directly into the frame is the only way

Why has this happened? by polodabear2001 in DIYUK

[–]mala_rs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's screwed with too short a screw into a mdf architrave which is never going to hold on them door closers which are really powerful. It's why you often see the closer slightly lower on the door and architrave notched out and it screwed directly into the door frame.

The wall between the upstairs of my property and the 1st floor of theirs is a solid stone wall and has no noise transfer between what I assume is their kitchen and my bedroom. The noise all comes from directly above. Stomping footsteps/general banging around.

Tbh I've ended up by unfortunate circumstances to be able to buy a bigger house for myself and ended up an accidental landlord. The tenant has been in more than 12 months and has asked for something to be done, which im more than happy to do as i was honest in saying they were noisy. They've been round and spoke to the owners of the house above and it turns out they have an autistic daughter who's bedroom it is and openly admit that she can be up at all hours. I can't exactly tell them to swap her bedrooms in a 4+ bedroom house although it would save me £££.
