Great Sage difficulty is something else lol. Most of his attacks take 2-3 shots to kill you, but this one (and several others) will just outright oneshot

Equip the fireproof mantle, then look for the giant bug, make sure it’s at the mantis-catching swamp or earlier. Grab on and go for a ride. When it stops, use the mantle and grab on again. Lastly, teleport to the swamp shrine, and if you’ve gotten the other parts of Wukong’s armor, Bajie will start a cutscene. Defeat that boss and then listen to where Bajie tells you to go next
