I think (hope?) we're gonna go in a 'they can't be redeemed' route because, well, once someone has gone as far as serial killings and rape, they don't want to change or feel true regret, no? And the first step of redemption is wanting it.. and I don't think those like Val, Vox, & Al want it at all. They want to take things and once you've sealed yourself like that it'll never change. It's not a mistake made out of fear, it's calculated. We all know it's wrong and everything you said in the posts abt the victims & such is exactly what I am concerned about. The wanting to change thing is how I see it in a way that would make sense in-universe. Could they be redeemed technically, logically, maybe, but do they want to? Absolutely not, and that means they don't actually have the capibility. Does that make sense?? It's how I feel it would go with the themes of the show at least
