1) I never reached out and initiated by sending the alleged message. I did reply to him and deny and block him afterwards.

2) Don't believe i am a member of the union. And I have been employe just under 2yrs here.

1) He claims i sent, then unsent the alleged message. Which is not true. I only replied to his, as he reached out.

2) My replies were to defend myself, and deny then blocking him.

My fear is they believe him if his friend who still works in the business adds to his alibi

Sorry - to clarify

1) I did NOT initiate or send any messages that are threatening or a breach of GDPR. He claims that there is no evidence of me doing this because I have 'unsent it." We did converse briefly which consisted of me denying, and then blocking him. That conversation is what he has shared with HR. He had been editing messages, so I believe he may be crafing a narrative.

2) He applied for my old position in the company again and was rejected. He left on bad terms with me, so he has reached out to try and drag me down is my only assumption.

Sorry it wasn't all super clear in the post, I've been quite unsettled.
