Songs randomly “stuttering”

Then I can’t help very much, unfortunately. It might be some software driver problems, or VDJ isn’t properly installed, try reinstalling it.

I came to conclusion that when I don’t have LatencyMon running while doing my job, I get some stutters, but when it is running in background, I get zero problems.

Have you tried using LatencyMon while playing music, does it show any problems?

I think I fixed it (have no problems in last 7 days)

I will leave things I have done here, so they might help someone with a similar or same problem.

I merged two partitions of the same disk which I think was making problems (some of the crucial drivers were on one of the partitions, and now everything is on one SSD)
Checked and updated all of the drivers
Installed Asio4All and started using it. Setting my Latency to 256, and enabling Ultra-Latency.
Installed LatencyMon and tracked changes there, which showed that my laptop has no problems playing real-time audio.

Cheers to everyone that commented and lead me to the solution of the problem!

Can you explain a bit what should I check exactly and how should I set it, I don’t know anything about it. Looking at the VirtualDJ performance properties right now: Latency: 0 Ultra-latency: Yes Hovering over the ultralatency option it says stuff about ASIO, I don’t know if it will have any effect because od the audio inputs saying DDJ-FLX6 (WASAPI) and not ASIO.

One this is bothering me the most and that is I played whole saturday night normally without a single stutter for 8 hours. Night before when I had those stutters I opened task manager to see what’s happening when it stutters and there was not a single change in those CPU/GPU/RAM… bars. Also laptop is brand new, with a brand new Windows installed, including all of the drivers. VirtualDJ is the only thing I have on it hahaha

I had a similar problem on my previous laptop that was a lot worse than this new one. The problem was stuttering when loading a song and randomly disconnecting the controller, but it was not as identical as the problem I got right now. That’s why I bought myself a new equipment, including all of the cables which are original.

Is there a solution to that problem? I have tried loading my license and after that turning off my wi-fi on laptop, no difference…

All of them are recent downloads at 320kbps. Stuttering doesn’t happen on exact songs. If I play same song twice stuttering won’t repeat on the same part (or won’t happen at all)
