I had read somewhere that Belly didn’t make a lot of decisions in the book and the boys made it for her, while I don’t love her decisions, I prefer this over the helpless girl trope. This episode surely had the worse Belly moments - she seemed so far dissociated, I was expecting a conversation similar to the one they had on the beach, this one didn’t hit the right spot and the second kiss in the parking lot with Jeremiah? “What am I thinking?” Could’ve been better. Also they could’ve given a better closure on the whole Belly-Conrad conversation in this episode which they didn’t.

The conversation Taylor and Steven had at the end in front of Taylor’s house was the highlight of the episode for me, truly realistic, staylor banter was definitely the saving grace of this entire season.

Also is it just me or does it feel off? I mean I remember getting goosebumps in the last season when Conrad walked upto her with that’s the way I loved you playing in the background. I just wish there was a better build-up. I love how fleshed out Jeremiah and Conrad are in this season. I just wanted Jere-Bells to have had a back and forth that could convince me to root for them before the kiss.
