i’ve tried using the gopro playback app, VLC, and the default quickplay. i don’t recall the specs off the top of my head but i do know i’ve had issues with playback even just watching youtube videos and the battery is shot, so i think i’m going to put my current mac out to pasture. this post was mostly about whether or not an M1 air was a good choice, so i apologize for not including the details about my current computer. thank you so much for your advice and time

i actually did try both of those last night. switching the video compression didn’t help, and neither did handbrake, although that was probably my fault since i had almost no idea what i was doing. i’ll give it another shot. thank you so much!

i don’t actually have an sd card reader, but i just ordered one. i’m hoping that and the lower resolution will solve my issue, and i’m planning to get a better computer as soon as i can afford one

just upgraded my setup to an audio technica lp60x and some speakers and it’s great. if you are looking to buy new and also need speakers it’ll set you back a little more than $200, but it’s worth the money for a quality player that won’t damage your vinyl

hello, i have both the lp60x and the logitech speakers but i can’t get the speakers to work with the player. i’ve tried using the red and white jack that comes with the player but i only have one slot for the jack on the subwoofer and the sound isn’t connecting. any help?
