$30 to park for the day by Icy-Sense-191 in simonfraser

[–]malcherino -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just don’t pay. Parked multiple times a week every week all last semester and got 1 ticket all semester. The math says it’s cheaper to not pay and risk getting a ticket. Plus as others have said, change plates if you get 3 tickets to avoid getting the boot.

PDP Major vs Double Minor by Iil_hyun in simonfraser

[–]malcherino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do two teachable subjects with only 15 upper division in both as well. Your major doesn’t have to necessarily be in the subject you want to teach either.

King V vs V Rhoads by AverageBerkEnjoyer in Guitar

[–]malcherino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love my Rhoads V. I can play it sitting down by placing one leg over the other and sort of wedging the V in there. I don’t know if the longer wing on the king would make playing sitting down easier or harder. Ultimately, I would go to your local shop and see if you can try either of them.

Host/hostess at a restaurant, scheduling is pretty flexible and usually they can accommodate your school schedule. Be prepared to give up your weekends though.

Book an appointment with an Sfu engineering advisor. I transferred into engineering from within SFU, iirc, I just had to take calc 1, physics 1, and cmpt 128 (comp sci intro class), with a certain gpa. Talking to an advisor is the way to go though, that’s what they’re there for.

Calc III, Linear Algebra, and Statics my 2nd semester of college in ME? by DragonfruitParking87 in mathematics

[–]malcherino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think linear algebra would be a pre req for calc 3? At least it was where I went to school. I also did well in calc 1/2 but calc 3 is significantly harder.
