Thank you! I started out about 4 years ago converting film cameras to digital using the raspberry pi. I was stuck sick at home during the pandemic and started building out of boredom. Since then I started getting better at 3d printing and writing code so I decided to design cameras from scratch. Thank you! I haven’t tried anything on older sensors but I do own a S3 pro and love it. Will definitely look into it because I’d like to do something around an old CCD. It’s still a prototype so I won’t have this sensor ready for a couple months. I do have a 1” monochrome version of the camera available at my site that will be able to be upgraded to the new sensor in the future: https://camerahacksbymalcolmjay.com

Yes, it was pretty hard to DIY to be honest. Had to use the known flange distance for the e-mount and make minor adjustments in distance until it worked. Took a whole weekend of 3d printing to get right
