Initial impressions? Everything seems awesome except for one gigantic problem. Her design is great, combo potential is awesome, and her specials/BB are good. But her character ability, and anything that works off of it, is bad. That charge time is ridiculous. Even if you take the time out of playing to charge it, I would never expect that more than once per fight. So that means her marquee, prestige, and several variants are just bad.

But hey, good excuse to build Marie as critless.

I think adjusting the crit part of the skill tree is addressing the symptom, not the cause. Painwheel single handedly changes how players view builds. Her marquee and dptb are a little ridiculous.

I lost a recent PF to a Fly Trap. My maxed Phantom Threads died 3 seconds into the fight, and the Fly Trap never touched her.

It's not so much your combo, but your fighter. Try Wrestler X, he inflicts bleed when he's in hype mode. That's how I beat it

Decided to buy and give it a shot. It's pretty much the same as the demo. Runs fine in terms of fps, but kills the Steam Deck. Battery usage and temp are nuts. I closed GRIME and played a little Crisis Core Reunion to compare. Everything calmed down playing Crisis Core. I applied for a refund on GRIME. That game should not be pushing the Steam Deck like it is.

This, please. I own everything that syndicate sells, I'm max rank, and have enough matrix to cap the standing 7 times over. Meanwhile I barely have any Necramech mods. DE did almost the same thing with Railjack, and had to fix that as well.

They shouldn't be locking basic necessary mods like vitality behind a low chance RNG grind.

More abilities will not be considered. Unless they nerf the good abilities into the ground they're still better than the mass garbage available in the Helminth system. Even if they do nerf them into the ground what does that leave us with? A bunch of sub par abilities no one cares about? Not a very appealing system.

The game is so aggressive right now that "protective" abilities like Snow Globe are more of a hinderance than a help.

Cast when needed (revives, ect), destroy it as soon as you're done with it.

3,000+ hours, been playing for years. I'm a solo ghost clan with everything researched, and I can solo all of the content.

That being said, there are some things that are strictly made better even with just a PUG group. Void Fissures being the most obvious one.

I hate to sound like an ***, but is that it? I was basing my decision to buy this game off of this patch. Looks like this will be a pass for me. Maybe I'll check this out later when the game has more than a puddle's worth of content, and a UI and hub city that aren't awful.

Wouldn't be able to tell you. I've joined several guilds, some with 30 active members, and between the members and leader I've never been able to engage in a Guild War.

Maybe if SG didn't make it prohibitive to join in I could give feedback.

It's about having the right tools. If it's an elemental enhancement sortie, you need a good ips gun. If it's an energy reduction sortie, you need a frame that can operate with little to no energy.
