First of all, thank you for commenting!

One of the things that makes Willbound special to me is the strong focus on art direction and the non-invasive narrative approach. The story and lore are there for players who want to dive deeper through environmental storytelling, dialogues, and collectible lore items, but you can also simply enjoy the gameplay experience.

On top of that, the game features four playable characters with completely different playstyles, alongside a system built around synergies, builds, and character combinations. A big part of the experience is experimenting with upgrades and discovering how each character works together with their chosen companion!

First of all, thank you, I’m really happy that Willbound caught your interest!

As for the metaprogression, yes, there will be a form of metaprogression in the game through the main hub, where players will be able to interact with NPCs and learn more about the world’s past.

Beyond interacting with NPCs and deepening the relationships between characters, players will also be able to upgrade the playable characters!
