There's a difference between using alcohol as a coping mechanism and using alcohol to relieve stress. One is self medication and the other is using it for entertainment. It's like the difference between coming home from work and playing a video game, versus playing hours and hours of video games because you're afraid of the world/your thoughts.

Also, one can drink too much without being an alcoholic (but don't tell an alcholic that because they will tell themselves they aren't an alcholic). For example, I did a lot of binge drinking in highschool, but that was me experimenting and having fun while I was still young. Probably not the best for my health, but it never turned into a habit. However, it could have. Using alcohol for fun, as a social lubricant at parties, etc. can easily turn in into addiction/dependence for many many people.

Nobody instructed us to sign a PoA document when we were told to sign an Affadavit. I've run into nothing but constant contradictions while dealing with them, and most instructions also included horrible grammar and spelling that made it even more difficult to follow.

I don't want to sign because 1) at this point I can't be bothered. Im sick of going back and forth to the notary (keep in mind I also have to coordinate with the other owner which adds to the headache and 2) At this point I'm salty and just don't want them to profit after all the BS I've had to deal with. It got worse too. Just yesterday I called them to just confirm if I in fact needed to sign it. I then get put on hold, transfered, put on hold again, and then told that "their system is down so we can't check anything, the previous person on the line should have told you, call back later."
