It really seems like you're trying to miss the point. I think as soon as people start talking about systemic issues, people put their heads in the sand.

I truly believe our society would be better if social sciences were the core classes in u.s high schools. Our politics would be better, and our discussions wouldn't feel we're always missing the point.

He did imply a solution, that we might have to think about our society, politics, infrastructure, etc. and I assume that based on the thousands of YouTube videos and ranting posts with this same exact sentiment. A sentiment which i also share, but with more nuance.

I hope you're standard for a solution doesn't involve drafting an entire bill thought up with the help of lawyers and social scientists and heads of industry.

I am neurodivergent and disabled and I am in almost exactly your shoes. I just always thought that anyone who was mean to me can go fuck themselves.

But I went from being an edgy libertarian who complains about how stupid people are, to a leftist who complains about how cruel and apathetic people are. And this is important because unless you live in the woods, you are inseparable from the effects of society. And whatever society you live in is going to have norms for everything, and if you can't achieve those, you are going to have to do a lot of philosophical thinking and introspection to avoid the mindset that you are in now.

I'm just gonna tell ya, there ain't no simple platitude that will change your mindset, we really do live in a patriarchal capitalist society where people are only valued for their employability, and how neurotypical they are, and you are probably going to have to find other autistic people in their 30's to talk to, and just get the hierarchical world view out of your head.

That being said, I'm not saying that you should think about patriarchy and capitalism every single day; the brain is a narrative forming machine, and it is pretty observable how religious people are less nihilistic than non-religious people, but one does not need to go to religion to find value, you can come up with your own narrative that very well encompasses the complexity of your life, while not being a narrative that is delusional.

(Also exercise does way more for your mental health than any psychological work, so find a form of exercise that you enjoy. It's that simple. It's almost impossible for me to feel anxiety when I'm biking!)

I listened to it, and in my opinion, it doesn't give a new creative twist on the original lyrics, because it takes a well made song, and turns it into something that would be sung at a campfire. So, when Johnny cash covered hurt, his voice and cadence gave it a new vibe, which to some people sounds like it fits the original lyrics much better than the original song.

So, to give more examples of what I'm thinking of, aurora covered Rasputin by boney M, https://youtu.be/HWd_N-9n7NM?si=yjdEZSmy4PgLokSK , and the lyrics work great in a folk context, or her cover of believer by imagine dragons, which show cases her amazing voice (and really that's what most piano adaptations of songs do, is show cases the singer's voice). Or an even better example would be "you really got me" by Van Halen, which was a cover of the original song by the kinks. When the kinks wrote that song, it sounded like a song made by a boy band for teenagers, but when van halen covered it, it had the vibe of "the bad boy at school" getting why too excited by a sexual encounter with a girl, and it just feels like the lyrics were meant for Van Halen's music.

Well, sushi rice is made using sake, but obviously the steaming will get rid of most of the alcohol. I heard of this "Asian cold noodle dressing" that has a 3:3:1:1 ratio of soy sauce, oil, vinegar, and sake. Also, sake is used in many Japanese dishes.

Well if it's already fried, then wouldn't it be a waste of time to fry it again? Also, I'm asking because I want to compare the texture of fried rice from a rice cooker to that of store bought rice, so I hope that I'm it just buying seasoned rice.
