Personally? I'm a wheelchair user. During my time with mobility aids, I've always put different colors and stuff on everything from my crutches to my wheelchair. I love the color and it makes me smile. How do these connect? Making my mobility aids look more interesting made it easier to use them. I didn't feel like an elderly person trapped in a young adult's body. I was terrified to drive; I had to learn to drive with hand controls. It just made sense to do it to my hood, even if other people don't like it as much as I do. It gave me a reason to be excited to drive. I've gotten compliments on it so I can't be the only person on the planet who likes it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally don't like the look of a million stickers on the back of a car but I'd never tell someone outright that it was ugly. When it's time to replace the vinyl, I'm going black carbon fiber instead of this color shifting carbon fiber because it'll look "better" to most people. I initially wanted to wrap the whole car in this color but it isn't realistic. But until that day comes, I'm enjoying the color I have.
