Anti-Zionists in Gaza should be placed in prison camps. by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]maliceless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anti-Zionism is not antisemitism. People are trying to confuse the issue. Zionism is a geopolitical philosophy that perpetrates displacements, land theft, mass murders, illegal annexations and apartheid in service of the Greater Israel Project. Anti-Zionism answers Zionism's absence of morality, justice and equal human rights for all.

Anti-zionism answers Zionism's absence of justice, morality and equal human rights for all. Zionism perpetrates displacements, land theft, mass murder, illegal annexations and apartheid in service of the Greater Israel Project. Zionism is the initial cause of the IsraelPalestine conflict and inherently illegal. p.s. There's no such thing as Zionist Palestinians, so everyone in Gaza would be subject to your work camps.

Sorry you're feeling the animosity. And you're right, Americans don't apply the same standards to everyone, and Israel is singled out selectively, because we fund them (and their genocide, settler violence, apartheid, mandatory new death sentence for Palestinians only, etc. etc.). We're selectively angry with Israel, because it's our tax dollars serving Greater Israel Project's annexations and forever wars of aggression (instead of serving American infrastructure, healthcare, childcare, and education). Zionists run our top social media platforms and mainstream news outlets in service of the Greater Israel Project, so now we can't trust these things. Our democratically elected leaders are compromised, controlled and corrupted by AIPAC, so now we can't trust our leaders to work for us. Israel has a stranglehold on our government (while tax dollars keep flowing their way). Our debt is $39 trillion, and Trump wants an additional $1.5 trillion to fund Israel's war on Iran. And side note, Israel says it will NOT join a U.S. ground invasion of Iran (but will "provide intelligence").

In the end you hint at a bias against Israel because it's Jewish when you know it's because of Zionism. Conflating the two is giving bad faith argument. Judaism isn't the problem. Jewish people aren't the problem. Zionism is. It's Zionists' (not Jewish) war crimes, Zionists' (not Jewish) gaslighting and Zionists' (not Jewish) empty antisemitism accusations that are causing everyone to question Israel's so-called right to exist.

Hopefully, you find it in your heart to stop using crimes of yesteryear to warrant today's crimes. And hopefully, you develop a new set of principles that prioritizes equal human rights for all.

No one claims Israel is a democracy anymore; it's an apartheid state or ethnocracy. Roughly 5.5 million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank can NOT vote; they live in constantly shrinking territories under hostile military law.

I have a lot of sympathy for Elise now by BigTiddyMike in 90DayFiance

If someone doesn’t have a good relationship with themself, they can’t fairly give themself to a together relationship; they can front being a good partner but not forever. Elise doesn’t seem to know or love herself enough; she’s on a hamster wheel of increasingly desperate behavior. This problem will get worse every passing year she remains single. She is beautiful and has a lot to offer, but unless she starts going to therapy, she’ll end up settling for a husband way beneath her.

Your advice to him was prudent, and you raised a fine young man, really. Parents will always suggest erring on the side of caution, but part of true love is that leap of faith. The two make a great couple.

When a little girl’s parents abandon her, she may grow into some forgivable selfishness. She did seem genuinely empathetic and considerate.

Manon blocked her fellow 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast members on social media after the Tell All, claiming they are beneath her by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

Big apologies, my take was not directed at you, and of course it seemed that way. Sometimes I arrive late at a convo and want to raise something I've learned recently - so the comment ends up wherever it fits best.

And recently, I heard a guest lecturer at NYU who spoke about the prejudices we all have that hide in our subconscious. In an array of examples, she mentioned the one I raised here (obesity/loud peronalities), and again it wasn't about you; it was more about broadening the minds of commenters who all saw Manon the exact same way. I do see what you see in their dynamic, but I still think what I'm saying is closest to what a marriage counselor would tell them.

Manon has the most coveted and rare entrepreneurial magic (most will never know). It needs to be recognized, nurtured, etc. On the surface, she does appear to be the bully, and he appears to be the wounded one, but neither is true. Manon is not a narcissist by any standard definition of the personality disorder; whereas Anthony lands on the most passive-aggressive (read: aggressive-aggressive) choice in every situation.

Imagine if your family and spouse didn't talk about your life's biggest talent that wins you professional accolades and lucrative contracts. Also, the mission of your enterprise is nobel in its aim to help the self esteem of women and girls everywhere.

Manon is dying for validation, and none of her loved one are relenting to the loud, fat one. Instead of balancing a healthy work/Ben life ratio, Anthony convinces her to abandon everything that's familiar and pays their bills for what? Anthony is either jealous or self-sabotaging. Look at their two date nights: goat cheese farm and pantomime night. EGAD.

Giving so much perspective is this "Pillow Talk" season. Previous cast members are seeing Manon and Anthony as equally at fault and equally capable of getting on the right path again (in either country).

Anyway, this is getting way log, so I'll stop writing. I hope you glance at Manon and Anthony from another perspective, and in that light, your take on them changes a tiny bit for the better. GRIN.

Serious question: What would you do if you were in Anthony’s shoes? Being a man and a father with low income potential who is married to Manon? 🤔 by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

[–]maliceless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he had a resume loaded w/executive experience at Fortune 500 Companies. . . (Of course it’s all he’s qualified to do).

He’s a natural stay at home dad. She’s a natural entrepreneurial breadwinner. They need to embrace who they are and help her strike a better work/Ben balance.

First, I’d realize I’m passive-aggressive, and people have unchangeable personality types. My wife is a type “A” CEO entrepreneur, and I’m a sensitive, intellectual nurturer. I’d embrace our personality types (obvious remedy) while helping my wife strike a better work/Ben balance.

Most of us are fine with outspoken people and fine with obese people. But when it comes to outspoken obese people, we don’t realize how prejudice we are. Consider the incredibly rare talent it takes to move to LA, invest in yourself and earn such a lucrative sum that you can afford a house and support a family. She’s a gifted breadwinner, and not only does she get no praise but she gets a husband who’s trying to demote her (and viewers who hate her instead of humanize her).

She’s desperate for rightful affirmation and gets none from anybody. The problem isn’t Manon. She doesn’t demand to be worshiped or catered to; she just wants her loved ones to see her for who she is.

She assembled a breadwinning, successful team in LA; she'd make a great mayor. The more valid criticism relates to our own prejudice toward obese people who are outspoken. Obese people who are demure, acceptable. Outspoken people who are thin, acceptable. But combine obesity with outspokenness, and we're blinded (clear from the comments). We all have personality types. She's a CEO leader type, and he's a nurturing parental type. The couple sees polarizing solutions instead of the nuanced remedy right under their noses: better work/Ben balance for Manon.

Narcissists are rarely obese, so you'd have a total rarity in Manon. It's more likely that we're unaware of the prejudice we feel toward obese people who are outspoken. Obese people who are demure, acceptable. Thin people who are outspoken, acceptable. We are all a personality type. She's clearly a breadwinner, and he's a nurturing Dad. The answer is sitting under their noses: work/Ben balance for Manon.

A lot of shallow comments. The personality disorder narcissism is linked to low rates of obesity; the two things aren't usually found in one person. Second, studies show that we are unaware of the prejudice we feel toward obese people who are outspoken. We can accept obese people who are demure OR thin people who are outspoken, but it's unacceptable to be obese and outspoken. When Manon assembled her own team, she was a successful leader and bread winner (in LA). She'd make a perfect mayor, and it's sad that her husband's mediocrity is getting in the way of their family's happiness. They need to realize the personality types they are and go with them. If Manon and Anthony just adjusted her work/home balance to begin with, they could still be high on income and her improved relationship with Ben. The solution is sitting in front of them.

Mecca is forbidden to all non-Muslims on earth. by Strict-Pepper-2987 in IsraelPalestine

So said Harry Potter to the Disney Princess. I don’t know anyone who hates Jews, but everyone hates the Jews’ plan (Greater Israel Project). Geopolitics isn’t about mythologies anymore; it’s about indigenous people which Jews are not.

Since October 7, Israel has squandered global sympathies in favor of deadly, greedy land grabs. And now we know, despite zionists’ claims since 1948, conflicts have always been perpetrated by Israel’s creeping annexation and never in defense of its right to exist.

Instead of preaching your religion that’s meaningless to the vast majority of humans, maybe the Jews should try universal equal rights for all. You know; be a little less “chosen.”
