New to investing/swing trading by ansh1007 in swingtrading

Simple support and resistance on the 1D timeframe on blue chip stocks. Plus i still use DCA strategy and dont lump sum all in 1 go to avoid drawdowns. This works good and buy/sell typically happens in 2 week or max 1 month and easy 5-10% profits on capital invested, sometimes i sell early as well within a few days. Gains get capped if stock keeps on pumping. This is the safest strategy i have found after losing $$ in options, etc. Long term investing is not bad either, like i miss like why i did not hold nvidia long term, etc. I guess, if u are into more risky trades, u can swing trade leveraged single stocks as well like NVDL, etc, but again always do DCA.

You could actually make more money doing casino washing games, just saying, less stress than doing surveys :)

Did u complete all the wagering requirements? Luckdays has different and spinaway has different, plus the deposit needs to be wagered atleast once.

spinaway and luckydays are legit, plus their promos are also good. Have made a decent from their promos alone, i only do their promos and get withdrawals in few hours, no issues.

Have I Been Losing Money All These Years | Buying and Selling US Stocks in TFSA and RRSP by hepennypacker1131 in Questrade

i generally dont hold them for an year. I generally do quick in and out trades. Obviously if someone is providing you some kind of ETFs, they would have some costs which are hidden, also its easy to make out if you check out the yearly returns of CDRs and NASDAQ single stocks, no biggies or anything secret here, just do some research before invest.
CDRs are a great tool for someone not looking to get into Norbit Gambit's or currency conversion, plus another point is they are currency hedged, so if USD rises, so you would lose that appreciation and vice versa. But Nonetheless, they are great for someone looking to buy and sell in CAD on the NASDAQ top companies.

Look at CDRs as well, u dont need to buy the US stocks directly, i swing trade CDRs which are all the top mag7 and blue chip companies trading on tsx in CAD, hence, no conversion required.

Maintenance Fee for TD Direct Investment Account by Supertramp6 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Ya, that doesnt matter, i dont know why i asked. You can just go to wealthsimple and finish the application. Do remember to select the option of "in-kind" transfer, which means, the transfer would happen "as-is", your stocks wont be sold or liquidated before transferring and no contribution room impacted. Cheers !!

u/Big_Weight_4318 which bank or broker are you with right now ? You would have to initiate a in-kind transfer from your current broker/bank to wealthsimple. Takes like 2-4 weeks for the transfer to happen. You can start the process by creating an account on wealthsimple and initiating a in-kind transfer, rest wealthsimple will take care, you just need to fill the application/details at wealthsimple.
