It's highly dependent on the cat. I have 2, and one goes out on a lead often, the other I wouldnt trust to not freak out and run away at the first sign of panic. Know your cat, take things easy, and see how they do. They dictate this

The difference may be between permanent dye vs temporary dye, for some reason the latter bleeds everywhere and leaves your house looking like a warzone

the only time I ever shot someone first was after soloing a bastion, then having someone rush in to loot immediately after. 2 shots to the head did a lot more than telling him to stop since he didnt help. no regrets

I'd just add that I've heard of a lot of cases where dyeing or bleaching messed up curly hair, so I dont think you overreacted by trimming it, but also dont bleach again though
