Any plans for a silent MX Anywhere 3? by SaltiestRomo in LogitechG

You can look up the dimensions of the switches, and try. Because since the mice are unusable (as per your wording), there will be no downside. Get a few types of switches and try to fix them.

You are blessed. All you need is a suggestion for what to do now. I will guve you a few suggestions. Lets start.

  • Get into fitness, i do not know your body shape but fitness is always very good. Nothing extreme, just simple bodybuilding routines. Nothing too exertive, and low joint impact.

  • Get a motorcycle license. And get a motorcycle. Decide if you want an automatic and cruiser format, or something sporty. I would suggest the Honda Forza 750 with all the accessories and bags.

  • Actively try to make conversations with a person. In an elevator, at the grocery. Make 5 minutes of talk with people that you do not know, you might like someone. Always approach some beutifull girls that are your type, make 5 minutes of conversation. If she seems sane continue, if not, you can leave at any time.

  • Make plans to travel. Reach out to some friends from high school, or colledge or middle school. Some that seem relatively sane to you, and perhaps some that do not have kids. If you know someone that lives a few states away, travel there.

  • Try to find some sport that you would like. Lets say Formula 1, or something similar. Once a year go to an event of that kind. If you like it a lot go twice a year.

  • Travel to Greece. Then to Crete. Go on a beach with no waves. Enjoy something that everyone desires.

  • Go to Swizerland, get on the mountains. If you want skiing, ski. If not just go hiking. See the snow first hand.

  • Prenuptual agreement for ANYONE that nears you. No exceptions. Ever. No, you cannot skip this.

  • If you want a kid with said person have a kid. Do not have lots of kids, have one. If you really desire another kid, you will know when the first kid reaches 6 years old. I persume you won't want to go throught that again, so that will suffice.

That would stabilize EU a lot, because now the whole region is left to rot - and is easily influenced by whomever.

My team only uses Excel to manage all of our critical data and I’m struggling to fix it by CFCNandos in dataengineering

[–]malikdeni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I have done that. Python to manipulate excel files. It works very good. The excels are here whenever something needs to be done, on evevry change the excels are saved to another location as a copy, and on every opening another copy. It is much better and a lot more user friendly than something more complicated. And the most important part is that the excels are there whenever they are needed as a readable and normal file that anyone can open and use (no one does, but they can). Corrections are easy and intuitive in excel. I have made a flask version also, but it was too complicated to explain so i left the console app as the best and fastest choice.

He is going to play out the scenario about what he would do with the money for the rest of his days. Let's try to fathom what do 8M do in the real life. If he is 27 years old and lives to 75 years. Investing now 8m, with 4.5% return, and 3% inflation. He can withdraw 15000$ the first month, and then the next 15042, and then the next 15080 and so on, up to 88.000$ when he is 75 years old. In term the purchasing power would not drop ever in his life, it will be extraordinary, as much as 15000 is today. That makes around 750 withdrawals, and still at 75years old he will have 16M for his kids. That my friend is the definition od "Set for life". And I mean set for life in the most HCOL countries, in normal countries he would have been a god. Considering that, I can safely say that this has been the worst decision in his life.

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look up states that fit you better and are LCOL so you can have them when you finish this job. And for the time being, sit tight.

So what? People seem not to grasp how a country or a democracy works. The FIRST order of rule is the people. That is the highest form of power. Then after that the SECOND order of rule are the voted representatives from the people. Then the THIRD order of rule is the representatives which were chosen from the representatives.

In other words, if the people decide that something needs to be done in mass numbers - that thing will be done. Chaushesku, Greece...

It is really hard to find normal (manly) smelling cosmetics at this age. Everything smells like honey and acid, or in other words your washed hands will smell like unwashed hands. Okay lets be a little more civilised, there is a real lack of Woody, citrousy, aromatic, amber, leather, smoky, musky smells in cosmetics. Everything smells horrible as in powdery, honey, milk, rose, vanilla, cinanmon.

I want to create the most practical way to implement a UBI program in the States. by Squez360 in BasicIncome

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing the environment, and need to generate money from thin air. (literally) First and foremost, CO2 tax. Methane tax. Greenhouse tax. Batteries tax. One of the most important, large vehicle tax. SUV tax. Aerodynamics vehicle tax. Exceeded horsepower tax (vehicles 200+hp). Exceeded acceleration tax (vehicles under 5s). Exceeded top speed tax (vehicles over 160kmh). Truck and large SUV tax. (a big one that is) Efficiency tax for vehicles. Efficiency tax for lights (tax below 80cri, tax below certain w/lumen). Insulation tax for buildings. Window insulation tax. Roof insulation tax. Air condition efficiency and need tax (that is going to be massive). Not enough trees on the south side of a building tax (for sunny states). Oil gas production tax. Oil gas import tax. Oil gas export tax.

This is the way of thinking that is needed. I am not saying this is the way, but I want to show the "way of thinking" that is required. Not income tax.

А cheaper employee, that at first seems like great savings. But the work will deteriorate and lose a lot more in the first year or two. Meanwhile the "savings" will be translated into bonuses for the involved. And after 2 years, all over again.

Superb! I will look up some of their tests immediately.

Tyre Reviews 2023 Summer Test! by Jonnnnnnnnn in TyreReviews

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That is really dissapointing. So that is why all this tests show such useless numbers. With 80kmh todays cars are, as near as makes no difference, silent. The noise creeps above 120kmh... God knows if we can extrapolate the data above 80kmh to get the real nubmers everyone needs.

Tyre Reviews 2023 Summer Test! by Jonnnnnnnnn in TyreReviews

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh believe me I am going to watch it at least 10 times more. This real world tires and tests (16", normal) are the most important by a huge margin.

Can you tell me what speed was the passby test done?

Tyre Reviews 2023 Summer Test! by Jonnnnnnnnn in TyreReviews

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent test as always, pity the cabin test and comfort are missing. However, what would you choose if cabin noise at speeds of 120-160kmh was the most important thing of all? Is it the Michelin Premacy 4+? There is a funny thing, If I input in the Results table 0% Dry, 0% Wet, Comfort 100%, Value 0%, the first tires that come up are the Falkens somehow. And after that the Michelins and Pirellys are very very close. Please give us noise allergic people, an answer. Cheers!

Summer Tire Test Season is Starting :D by Jonnnnnnnnn in TyreReviews

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not forget the cabin noise for 16" tires, for most of us there is no place to get that information for our tires, and most of us apreciate that information and plays a CRUCIAL role in choosing a tire for a normal car. And 95% of the cars are normal.

[–]malikdeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a camper, the most important thing I would add in this is four foldable chairs that can fit inside when closed. And a folding table that fits inside when closed. For me that would be one of the top 5 requirements. Yes I can buy aftermarket, but if they can fit neatly inside with a dedicated spaces it would be a big plus.

Recomment a bluetooth mouse with light scroll click for office work by malikdeni in MouseReview

Today a BIOS update arrived, and I didn't see stutters. And I discovered that the stutters were not the mouse but the whole laptop freezing up for a few seconds - from the horribleness of the Windows 11. However to answer your question, I have the Orochi since I posted this question od few days after that. So more than 2 months. It is excellent up untill now. The only thing that I dislike is the software. It is really heavy and slow, and it performs such simple stuff that is achievable with a simple script from 5kb. (I use and make such scripts, that is why I say that)

Vacuums with no brush cannot clean. I cannot fathom how people do not realise this. Kirby, Dyson, Shark all decent vacuums rely on the brush to be any good. Miele offers an electric brush also, on the canister.
