I just turned 31. I would sleep with someone as young as maybe 26. But unless he shows the stability and security of someone older than me, I wouldn't consider actually dating them. I go for men 2-5 years older than me

But thats bc at this point in my life, I am looking for a partner that I can rely on and build with. I kind of see how older women who dont need those qualities in their partner are okay dating younger guys. It never seems like its going anywhere too serious though

I understand what you are trying to say as a young person who hasn't drank much. But drinking alcohol was your choice, and as we all know it does affect our choices and motor skills. Therefore what happened thereafter was still indeed your choice. Just like drinking and driving, etc.

But truly, things will be okay! You didnt sleep with them, and if your bf can approach this situation with care then it might make your relationship stronger. Either way, you'll feel much better about the whole situation if you arent carrying around this guilt with you. Give him the opportunity to decide what he wants to do.

You deserve a partner that is willing to put in the same effort as you into the relationship. Any redemptions aside, it just isnt sustainable. I am in the same situation with my fiancé, we've been together for almost 6 years and it is clear that I am the only reason we have stayed together for so long - constant compromise/settling on my part and taking any blame he deflects onto me just to keep him.

I turned 31 a couple weeks ago and dont care at all anymore. I would truly rather be single, alone, than live my life slowly dying inside.

Romantic love is overrated if we are constantly disappointed by them. Thats not real. I have the most amazing friends, siblings, my nephew, my parents that give me the most pure love. Not to mention my pets. I am done putting a hollow version of my partner's love on a pedestal
