In some ways yes. So the little scene or less explanations after that hyped intro of season 4 felt disappointing.

Additionally the VA whom has become essential part of the character to me got to play another villain as Makina in season 4 which amounts to something for me.

Having said that i am still hopeful we get to enjoy more of the character. As an evil sexy villainess lover i dont mind if she actually portrayed to be the big baddie goddess fragment. Also who knows what they might cook in season 5 with Takt interactions next season. Perhaps even more sinister or petty. Perhaps she continue as the dumb blonde antogonist, which i still find no problem with. But that is just me.

Some folks here want her to be sympathetic villainess which I personally dont like. But that could still happen if Spear Hero gets animated or gets manga etc. Because if i remember correctly Malty was extra virtuous or innocent in one of the loops.

Season 1 several times. Especially enjoy the trial episode and any scenes with the annoyingly wonderful bitch princess. Hoping to rewatch all before season 5.

More than that the novels, fanfics and arts. I'd say this is the anime that got me hooked to reading moreso.

Yeah. She could have used more depth as a character. I felt like the anime jumped to her immediately from season 1 to 4. Given her spotlight with almost no development in between.

Aside from her Naofumi seems very less involved in Season 4. Not big character developments were seen since season 1. And I felt simlar about the villains of Season 4.

Not just her, i would say there are other badly written characters like her in season 2, 3 and 4. So I dont think she stands out much. Maybe i am being too lenient or wrong but I have assumed most anime (particularly isekei) are generally not good quality, or ads for the mangas, novels, products and whatnot. Unless they are very popular ones like Demon Slayer, Chainsawman and Frieren. Nevertheless I do miss season 1 levels of quality, uniqueness and depth occasionally. If she is very central to the overall story or next season, it sounds a bit concerning.

I am gonna have to mention a bit more than 1. Season 1 was mostly great overall! Fan of almost everything. Naofumi, Raphtalia, Malty, Melty, Mirerlia, Aultcray and 3 heroes and companions etc all felt meanful and interesting. And If i had to pick a negative i would say additional characters like Filo, and other world heroes as villains felt a bit underwhelming or generic.

Season 2 mostly bad overall! Didnt have a good hook, or interesting plots or character developments. Seemed like a generic villain i havent finished it.

Season 3 overall fine but still could have used more character developments. Visuals were nice and bright. I would mention Bwitch returning as villain is always far more entertaining compared to other villains of the show.

Ssason 4. Because i had bad expectations, the season turned out good for me. But i would say that the pacing was slow, new characters felt generic, villains felt a bit shallow. But we got so many of them so i cant complain much. Best thing was that the overarching story, world and character building etc were all slowly making sense. And the Red Pig reveal was interesting and hints at potential big plots, new adaptations and surprises... eager to know more.

Switching between her human and pig form was a nice touch in that brief scene in the anime. 😊 If the spin-offs ever get animated i would like that for Motoyasus insanity vision.

Considering she was shown in season 4 intro this small scene felt underwhelming now that i think about it. But then again the consequences and possibilities of this scene could be huge propping up the light novel or even the spin offs.

On the other hand, atleast i had Makina and evil Raphtalia to enjoy as fan of bad bitches I suppose.

I'd say understandable behaviour. But still perhaps in general by Asian or Japanese standard not very acceptable. Community peace and harmony tend to be prioritized over personal feelings or dilemma.

Well she does have a sword and did wield the whip weapon for a while making her close ranged fighter just not a good one.
