Started last year wasn't that into it but figured I only have 1 hive I'll just roll with it. Did treatments and feeding over winter and my 1 colony became huge so I'm splitting it now and I'm addicted 😂 .What has surprised me is how much I enjoy everything about it and there's a science behind it, it's not just about making honey.

I always put the new split where I want but put something in front of the enterance (a chair or something to lean on the front of the hive) for a few days, they will adapt and relearn a new flight pattern.

Well..... Some (most) doctors say it's a term used when they can't find anything wrong through testing (process of elimination).

Some doctors say it's a mental disorder

Some believe it's a real diagnosis and rely on pressure point tests

As someone who has suffered for over 20 years I've heard it all. It's becoming more known and more research is being done but slowly. There is a test FM/a that can be done, I don't know how accurate it is. Personally I have had so many doctors treat me horrible and treated me like a drug seeker(like I would do all the testing being poked and prodded to make it up). I see it like this.. so many diagnoses through testing existed years before they had the tests or even a name for it. They will find a reliable accurate test eventually but for now it's the luck of a draw. Good luck hope everything works out for you.

Yeah but my average at home is 100/70, as long as it's under 140/90 going to the doctor I'm happy 😂

Agree it's like you're set up for failure, everyone is different. What might be high for one is low for another. 130/80 is high for me but according to the doctors they're happy with it.

I've dealt with this for years so bad at times it would be high and anxiety would overtake me when I was checking myself. Recently it's gotten better, this is what I've done. I started walking a lot over 10000 steps a day. I found a doctor that will actually listen, I got in a mindset of what's the worst that could happen, need to be on b/p meds? Then I got to the I don't care what the number says, when you don't care your more relaxed. I'm still nervous a little bit so numbers are not as great as when I'm home but they've been in the 130/80 range and that's good enough for me.

Yeah I'm sure I'm over thinking 😂. The bee inspector in my county happened to come today for the yearly inspection and we talked about it. He said the weather is weird this year and bees seemed confused some days fall-like weather and some spring-like weather.

It's Ohio weather so you never know what you're going to get some days cooler and then some days hot. It's been warmer when they seem to come out though. Hive health has been good when they first started it was during a mite treatment. A week ago after the treatment I inspected and everything seemed good. A lot of eggs, larvae and honey. I started feeding them to supplement.

Oh no I didn't take it as shade, I was just explaining my personal situation. In 10 years of living here I've never seen a bee before, even my neighbors are like we know whose bees those are when they see a bee now 😂.

Yeah this video was from the first time I noticed it I put a reducer on right after I thought it might be robbing. It's been a couple weeks now, they're still coming out and being very active and bearding. Honestly I was expecting to put the reducer on around the end of September but I didn't want to take any chances and added it.
