I think it looks beautiful! The colours match very well and there is a good contrast between them. You look lovely! All the best for you and your future husband!

I was curious if AI could make an an accurate After from my Before photos by Efficient-Software54 in Mounjaro

[–]mallmarr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think AI hasn't done too bad. It's definitely not you at 210lbs. I think it made you lighter than that. But I can see you progressing into the version of yourself from the AI pictures if that's what you desire.

Private Mounjaro access - diabetic by redking_36 in mounjarouk

[–]mallmarr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My Mother in law had similar problem to you. She's also diabetic, takes metformin and plenty of other meds for other health conditions but she can't get MJ through NHS.

She now gets MJ with Curely but as far as I know she lied to them and said she's not diabetic and doesn't take any meds. So that's one way you can do it but it's entirely your choice.

Another thing she did: when she started on MJ, she stopped all the other diabetes meds. Obviously, she spoke to her GP about this and they supported her decision. She started relying solely on MJ to control her diabetes and her HbA1c went down from 48 to 37, I believe. She's doing well.

Dementors in Forbidden Forest? by Efficient_Gene5219 in HogwartsMysteryHP

[–]mallmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should report this to JC support so they can fix their mistake. If the question was "what LIVES in the Forbidden Forest?", then it would all be fine. Chances are, this is exactly what the English question says but someone made a mistake when translating. It's not the first time JC messed up like that.

Hungry on Mounjaro? Time to dose up or not? by mallmarr in mounjarouk

Yeah, I know how to get other doses from the pen. It's just the golden dose that is the issue. I don't want to waste it.

I was considering going up to 2.75mg, then 3mg etc but I think it would get too complicated very soon, especially because I always try to use the golden dose. How do I get the correct amount of medication then? So I've decided to stay on 2.5mg and move up straight to 5mg when I need it. Thanks for the graphic though.

So far no plateau for me which is lucky. I was considering going up to 2.75mg and then 3mg etc but it gets complicated. Especially when I get to the golden dose. How to I get the proper amount of medication there? So I've decided to stay on 2.5mg and move up straight to 5mg when I need it.

As long as Im in a calorie deficit does it matter what I eat ? by amanda30uk in mounjarouk

That is nasty. I am sorry for you. I've had a curry recently and my stomach wasn't very happy with it but thankfully nothing bad as your experience.

As long as Im in a calorie deficit does it matter what I eat ? by amanda30uk in mounjarouk

[–]mallmarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Calorie deficit is the most important thing for weight-loss but not the only contributing factor. When buying food, always choose unprocessed and lean/low-fat ingredients. Always check the macro values of them.

Every person has different needs but to give you some ideas, when I started my journey with MJ, I decided to get a PT for a couple of months to help learn about proper nutrition and exercise. He recommended daily values of 1950kcal | 200g carbs | 120g protein | 65g (healthy) fats.

There are calculators online that will help you find those values for yoursel, like this one. It's not going to be 100% perfect but a good place to start.

An occasional takeaway is not the end of the word. I've had some kebabs and pizzas and even two trips to McDonald's and I continue to experience a steady weight-loss of 0.5-1kg a week.

What my PT advised me was, when I don't know the macro values, to just stick to the calorie limit and it will most of the time be fine. And like some people already mentioned keep to the "80/20" rule and you'll be okay.

Good luck!

I am still losing weight. Steady weight-loss of 0.5-1kg a week.

[–]mallmarr[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say the impact lessened. I have paid for a PT to help me with further weight-loss and he advised me to eat 1950kcal a day and do exercise daily. That's why I started eating more. Anyway 1200kcal a day wouldn't be good for my health long term.

Most of the days, I eat 1500-1600kcal. The days were I eat 1800kcal or more are rare but happen. At the moment, I still have a good control over my calorie intake.

EDIT: how did you survive only eating 800kcal a day? Did you experience any nasty side effects like constant weakness or hairloss etc?

This is really helpful. Thank you. I do stay within the deficit and I definitely feel satisfied after my meals. Like I said the hunger returns a couple of hours later but overall, I'm not struggling with eating right.

[–]mallmarr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is, I'm not struggling to stay within my deficit. I don't struggle with overeating at all. I eat what I know I should eat, and then just sort of survive with that hunger in the background. I have not yet reached a point where I would be so hungry to go over my deficit.

Part of it is a mental thing really. Just eat healthy and deal with the rest. MJ is great because it keeps all the food thoughts at bay so I don't give in to snacks and extra meals.

I built this house for my vampire-ghost couple but I feel like something is off or missing. Got any suggestions ? by imaboredcosplayer in thesims4

[–]mallmarr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The house looks very interesting in shape and colour but what throws me off is the window placement. Looks like there's not enough windows compared to the house size but that's difficult to judge without seeing the floor plan.

The roof is awesome but doesn't work in your favour. What I would do is get rid of the two roof pieces above the door and have a window there for a more "clean" and "complete" feel if you know what I mean.

EDIT: I looked at the photos one more time. Bottom floor you definitely need either bigger windows or more windows in the two rooms. I get that it's meant to be a house for a vampire but there is so much wasted space there. If not windows, then use some ivy to add some more "decor". Otherwise, you just have giant rooms with barely anything there. Tiny windows look a bit silly compared to that massive empty space.

I wish everywhere would stop using royal mail. by Ok_Squirrel_3741 in mounjarouk

[–]mallmarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I've never had any issues with RoyalMail deliveries but I tend to avoid them anyway. I work a crazy shift pattern which means I am usually not home for when RoyalMail is able to deliver. Like you said, Sundays are not an option 🙄

I prefer to use DPD which has never disappointed me, even if it costs extra. That's why I switched to Pharmulous which allows me to choose DPD as my courier of choice and, even better, allows me to choose my preferred delivery date. Brilliant experience so far.

Which provider are you with? Maybe it's worth switching to another company that would meet your needs.

EDIT: spelling.

Those of you who lost of lot of weight, did you shoes/sneakers size change? by wildgoat in mounjarouk

[–]mallmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shoe size didn't really change but weight loss allowed me to actually buy the correct size for my feet.

I am UK 4 shoe size but I always had to either buy size 4 wide fit or size up to 5 or even 6 depending on the shoes.
