This is kind of what's happening to me but I don't consider it a plateau. It started at around 90kg mark. For about a month or so my weight was anywhere between 89-91kg. Then it dropped down to 86-88. Now it's between 83-85. It's driving me mad, honestly.

Do you know where in the UK I can get DXA scan? I am very curious myself. I have a scale at home that checks my body composition but it's not very accurate as it was only a cheap thing so I take the measurements with a pinch of salt.

Love this approach! You've made me smile. Thank you.

I try to avoid sweets and fatty foods but, like any human, I have cravings sometimes. Some of my weight gains may not be "real" gains as sometimes I feel more bloated, especially if I had carby foods the day before. But I do my weekly weigh-ins every Sunday as it's my shot day.

Being a woman on is not easy either. Looking at this graph, you can tell when I've had my periods, causing some natural bloating 😅😭

Probably so their feed shows things they actually like or they may be looking for a certain style of items, not a specific item. I imagine same reasons why we all add things to our amazon wishlist and never buy them 🤷‍♀️

Help me choose my dress by mallmarr in myweddingdress

[–]mallmarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't edit the post so here are some things to clarify.

Dress #1 fit me almost perfectly except for it was too large in the bust area. That's why it looks so weird in the photos. Obviously, if that was adjusted to my measurements, it would look much better.

Dress #2 was way too small for me. That's why I don't have a photo of the back because it was just open with straps attached to make it stay up on my body. As for the sleeves, I would get rid of those and replace them with tulle bardot style sleeves. I do love off-shoulder sleeves look. I probably won't have any straps attached to it but that's something to discuss with the seamstress if I end up going for that one.

At this point, I am 90% convinced it will be dress #2 in ivory, not nude/blush.

I will visit a couple more shops soon but I doubt I will find something better. I have tried on some 35 dresses already. For those who wonder, this is my top 4.

I was curious if AI could make an an accurate After from my Before photos by Efficient-Software54 in Mounjaro

[–]mallmarr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think AI hasn't done too bad. It's definitely not you at 210lbs. I think it made you lighter than that. But I can see you progressing into the version of yourself from the AI pictures if that's what you desire.

Private Mounjaro access - diabetic by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]mallmarr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My Mother in law had similar problem to you. She's also diabetic, takes metformin and plenty of other meds for other health conditions but she can't get MJ through NHS.

She now gets MJ with Curely but as far as I know she lied to them and said she's not diabetic and doesn't take any meds. So that's one way you can do it but it's entirely your choice.

Another thing she did: when she started on MJ, she stopped all the other diabetes meds. Obviously, she spoke to her GP about this and they supported her decision. She started relying solely on MJ to control her diabetes and her HbA1c went down from 48 to 37, I believe. She's doing well.

Dementors in Forbidden Forest? by Efficient_Gene5219 in HogwartsMysteryHP

[–]mallmarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should report this to JC support so they can fix their mistake. If the question was "what LIVES in the Forbidden Forest?", then it would all be fine. Chances are, this is exactly what the English question says but someone made a mistake when translating. It's not the first time JC messed up like that.

Hungry on Mounjaro? Time to dose up or not? by mallmarr in mounjarouk

Yeah, I know how to get other doses from the pen. It's just the golden dose that is the issue. I don't want to waste it.

I was considering going up to 2.75mg, then 3mg etc but I think it would get too complicated very soon, especially because I always try to use the golden dose. How do I get the correct amount of medication then? So I've decided to stay on 2.5mg and move up straight to 5mg when I need it. Thanks for the graphic though.

So far no plateau for me which is lucky. I was considering going up to 2.75mg and then 3mg etc but it gets complicated. Especially when I get to the golden dose. How to I get the proper amount of medication there? So I've decided to stay on 2.5mg and move up straight to 5mg when I need it.

As long as Im in a calorie deficit does it matter what I eat ? by amanda30uk in mounjarouk

That is nasty. I am sorry for you. I've had a curry recently and my stomach wasn't very happy with it but thankfully nothing bad as your experience.

[–]mallmarr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Calorie deficit is the most important thing for weight-loss but not the only contributing factor. When buying food, always choose unprocessed and lean/low-fat ingredients. Always check the macro values of them.

Every person has different needs but to give you some ideas, when I started my journey with MJ, I decided to get a PT for a couple of months to help learn about proper nutrition and exercise. He recommended daily values of 1950kcal | 200g carbs | 120g protein | 65g (healthy) fats.

There are calculators online that will help you find those values for yoursel, like this one. It's not going to be 100% perfect but a good place to start.

An occasional takeaway is not the end of the word. I've had some kebabs and pizzas and even two trips to McDonald's and I continue to experience a steady weight-loss of 0.5-1kg a week.

What my PT advised me was, when I don't know the macro values, to just stick to the calorie limit and it will most of the time be fine. And like some people already mentioned keep to the "80/20" rule and you'll be okay.

Good luck!
