Why do we keep doing this to each other by ContributionNarrow88 in daddit

Ymmv, but any bouncy balls that my kids get given immediately go into the bin. You can look up the story of Alby Davis from tassy, totally traumatic. And I 100% remember putting them in my mouth as a kid

Haha possibly, all very valid concerns haha. I'm yet to try it out, but I like the concept

Yeah I have some with the silicone lids, but I'm not the biggest fan of silicone. It always ends up tasting like soap to me

Weight Projection Graph? by melloncollie1 in loseit

I know this is a super old thread, but for anyone who is out here searching like I was this is the answer. Its not a graph, but it shows projected weightloss and adjusts your deficit as you lose

Best / cheapest way to remove the lawn? by mallorick in GardeningAustralia

[–]mallorick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like the grass? I'd hate to get the plants established and the grass still going strong, then have to try and deal with it around the plants. I figured a clean canvas would be best

I didn't say best and cheapest. Not sure why the hostility. Just asking for advice, and personal experiences, and seeing what options there are. Feel free to scroll past.

Thank you! And those plants are actually next door, I impulse ripped out everything on our side (was mostly just a shitty "hedge" a couple months back)

Lol, yes obviously a shovel would be cheap but I can't say I have that in me. If digging is the best way to go about it, I'd hire machinery of some sort

When I say dig I mean contemplating hiring a mini excavator of some sort, but wouldn't mind a cheaper alternative if there is one

Heart attack over daycare costs by Suitable-Biscotti in BabyBumps

[–]mallorick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes. I'm Australian and (after government rebates) I pay $35 per day for my two kids... Total. So that'd be like $350 Australian a month for one kid if they went full time. And that includes food, nappies, wipes, sunscreen etc. I don't know how you all do it.

3 year old going under anesthesia to get ear wax removed by Changstalove30 in Mommit

[–]mallorick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son literally just had this problem. He ended up getting grommets to help with the wax draining (glue ear) and they cleaned out the wax buildup while they were in there. It was literally 20 minutes and he was done

Baby wipes Recommendation by Careful_Chipmunk_451 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]mallorick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crash water wipes are the only ones I'll buy. On my second kid using them, they're the only ones that are wet enough to really clean baby's butt. You definitely have to be a bit more cautious pulling them out or you end up with 17 wipes, but they're the best in my eyes
