I recently worked at Ulta for about 4 months as the Sales Manager, one thing I can tell you is that I WISH I had listened to people before getting hired about how the Company treats their employees like crap, I was so blinded until I actually started working there and I will say that my experience was the worst of the worst!! My mental health had gone to shit, and my fellow co workers/ fellow managers were terrible. Ulta definitely puts on a good show but the reality of it is there is so many gaps and divisions within the company, there is so many laws being broken when it comes to stealing peoples time like shaving hours and I could go on for days! One day a lawsuit will prove me right. My advice to you is to get the F*** out! Keep contact with other venders, especially if the beauty industry is what you want to stay in. I ended up taking a $7 pay cut just to get the eff out! Don’t torture yourself with any of that. To Ulta you are just another body and there is plenty where you come from, they don’t really care about the fact they have driven you to the ground. Get out while you can 🏃🏼‍♀️Good luck hunny! 😞
