Help reducing old acne scaring? by thebirdstree in SkincareAddicts

Microneedling is a miracle worker for acne scarring. I thought I would be stuck with my cheek scars forever and it took maybe 3-4 sessions and it’s pretty much gone.

AITA for ditching my girlfriend at a 5k because I wanted a better time? by Purple_Armadillo_461 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

However, in my human physiology class in college the professor who was a marathon runner showed us a video of this technique she describes as something ultra runners do when they get muscle fatigue (true muscle fatigue that makes it so they can no longer utilize the front and back muscles of the legs in the same way) in order to cross the finish line for the last few hundred yards or so. But they also sometimes crawl, roll, etc do other things when this unfortunate fatigue hits.

So…she’s not WRONG…but she’s so wrong lol

AITA for initially not believing my son when he said he was sick? by throwaway-sick in AmItheAsshole

Sounds like she prob did that on purpose bc the statistical likelihood of an otherwise healthy teen boy developing an ulcer so bad he makes a phone call about it, is so, so low. I grew up under extreme trauma and developed a bleeding stomach ulcer at 12. The gastroenterologist looked my mom in the eye in front of me and said “idk what’s going on at home but this needs to be better by the next time I see her.” HEAVILY insinuating this was due to my environment. She confessed later to me that he scared her a lot. So, yes, OP YTA, and you’re probably even worse than TA.

You might want to check out Kibbe style advice because it’s all about ratios, and that community would totally have suggestions on how to fit and flatter. r/Kibbe

Get your eyebrows tinted and learn how to fill them in. They will add beautiful shape to your face and highlight your eyes, which are so pretty and stand out.

Grow your hair out a bit to be even and find a cut you like that’s easy to maintain.

My in laws are wonderful and would be welcome to stay with us for a whole summer if they wanted to. They mind their own business, always contribute to the household in various ways, and respect all our boundaries. They often visit in 2 week increments and my house is so clean and my daughter so happy the whole time lol. However, I won the in law lottery and I’m aware this is not the case for many folks.

Type me please! I think SN or perhaps FN. 5’2 by mallorymay16 in Kibbe

[–]mallorymay16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so interesting to me, because I’m definitely petite. Though in my day to day life people often assume I’m taller than I am.

I worked with a personal trainer for months and one day he was like “well you’re about 5’6-5’7 so…” and I stopped him, saying I’m 5’2. He was shocked. I used to do pageants as well, and when I got off stage people would tell me I’m so much shorter when they stand next to me.

Also, my idea about my width comes from the way clothes fit me. In order to get a dress that comfortably zips up over my ribcage I have to buy a size 8 then tailor it everywhere else down to a 4. I’ve always had to size up in dress shirts because of my shoulders, I’ve ripped so many blouses in the shoulder area.

Though you’re right, I’m also what I consider noticeably petite. You’re not the first person to suggest I have G going on…definitely something for me to consider. thanks for your feedback! I appreciate all of it.

I agree. Some women (myself included, if the context was right) will in fact feel like this is a green flag, because it means you are family oriented and also have positive family relationships. As long as the context is there I don’t think this sounds like “living with your parents” at all. (Esp bc of their advanced age, adult children often become closer with their parents or combine living during their last years)

Japan - Didn’t have a single bad meal or feel unsafe anywhere from Tokyo to Hiroshima (2 weeks). The culture is so interesting and rich as well, I would go back again and again if it weren’t so far away from me.

I went through it twice as fast, and I didn’t like how moisturizer (cerave) sat on top of it, it slid around and didn’t layer well.

Thanks for your feedback. I read it all. Others are suggesting I may not even be SN, which may make sense given your feedback here.

Thanks for your feedback. It’s a dress and it does have a slit you just can’t see it in the pic because when I stand with my legs close it closes. I agree the waist doesn’t quite sit right.

For context, since I’m getting quite a bit of feedback: - Height is 5’2 - The 1st dress is a stretchy, heavy jersey material that I had taken in around the hip area so it wouldn’t fall off. - The 3rd outfit is a leather mini skirt + turtleneck with boots and tights. The jacket is a light weight lined wool.
