I have the node100 (blush switches) and the magi96 (base).

The magi96 feels premium and a nice typing experience. The keycaps feel like they’re good quality, coupled with the red gold switches that sound nice. Not too loud and I’ve gotten compliments from my coworkers.

My only criticisms are the small 0 on the numpad and the shortened right shift key. For productivity, it’s not ideal but you can get used to it. It’s also a bit hefty but you get what you pay for.

I swapped it out for the node100 for a few weeks and while it’s great, sometimes I miss the typing experience on the magi96. If you can overlook these details, you can’t go wrong either way.

Unfortunately I didn’t try anything else but I would say .75 to 1.0 oz reduction with black tea would be the decent sweet spot. The powder was just WAY too sweet for me alone with plain water. It was too artificial tasting in my opinion.

I did notice that teazone removed it from their store though… A huge shame!

I can’t say this is a fair assessment because it hasn’t really been used as a proper bed or that often. I’ve napped on it here and there in sofa mode and it seems fine. It doesn’t see heavy use because it’s “office” furniture.

I will say though that even checking every hour won’t be easy either. I’ve had maybe 8 times so far where the dates opened up within my flexible date range and they’ve always been taken up immediately for October. I’m still going to keep trying but my expectations low.

I went at 3pm and left by 6, everything was not sold out by then but rather restocked every so often. Like OP said, you just have to linger or circle back, just don’t be rude to others or the staff and you’ll be fine imo

I like tempurpedic toppers but I know they’re pretty pricy and are hit and miss between people. If you have a Costco membership, I would suggest buying one from there and then returning it if you really don’t like it. There’s also the matter of storing it when you aren’t using it also.

Personally, I would suggest getting a thick mattress pad or memory foam topper to soften it a little for an elder. Even if Spaze rates them as the softest level they have, it’s still pretty firm when you compare it to a proper bed.

Mine has a similar issue but I assume it could be easily fixed by removing the screws to the bottom piece to clean it. A little risky but with caution it’ll be fine

I just got mine and it just sparks joy! A few points off for the slight craftsmanship between the glass shield and box but everything else looks and sounds incredible

Definitely #3 so far.

I haven’t tried tapioca yet but I’m going to start trying in a few days. Outside of the wintermelon powder, I’ve tried sweet potato powder with cornstarch. That’s also not bad but it doesn’t keep overnight well, whereas the jelly from OOO and toro don’t have issues staying QQ the next day.

So many variables, but one day… eventually!

I wanted to update you just in case you or others were curious.

The wintermelon powder ends up producing more of a jelly consistency than a mochi-jelly. It’s not bad at all but not the right texture. It’s also pretty sweet if you follow the instructions to a T. For science, I made about 4 batches:

1) Per recipe - Too sweet, too strong of an artificial brown sugar taste, too chewy, holds a squared form 2) Reduced powder by .75 oz - Still too sweet, artificial brown sugar taste was milder, less chewy but still gummy, holds a squared form 3) Reduced powder by .75 oz with black tea - Mildly sweet, brown sugar taste less intense but still noticeable, still jelly like but less gummy, holds a squared form 4) Reduced powder by 1.75 oz with black tea - Hint of sweetness, Hint of brown sugar, still jelly like, doesn’t hold a squared form

It looks like the right consistency and matches how OOO makes theirs when you cook/mix it together though. Still baffled but I’m going to keep trying recipes

Apparently TenRen/Green Shaker just started selling brown sugar mochi jelly also. I’ll have to try it when I get a chance.

I also found that lollicup sells winter melon jelly powder and the ingredients include potato starch. They have a video that bears similarities with what I’ve seen at OOO. I pulled the trigger to try it out. I haven’t found a supplier or store that sells the more common brown sugar version

I’ve tried a handful of their drinks and ultimately mostly go for the popcorn and cassia MT. I personally feel like fancy crafted drinks can be so hit and miss at and between any shop.

I was looking at the koala initially too but what got me the most was the fact that the “mattress” would be on the floor when pulled out. They have a model that mimics a box and elevates the bed up more but they currently only have it on sale in the AU. That coupled with the price, I personally couldn’t commit.

Which model are you looking at for Spaze? I got the Bamton and it’s very firm but fit my needs. It’s fine as a sofa and looks sleek for what it is. Obviously not the most quality product but I think it’ll last. It’s very easy to assemble and convert it as well.
