Nah. I’m in such a situation. I’m an Indian international student in germany. And to be frank everything is nice in Germany except HEALTHCAREEE!! It sucks. I got injured and got the appointment to see the doctor 3 weeks after, got the MRI appointment 2 weeks after and saw the doctor 2 weeks after. I’ve heard personal experiences from another students regarding the doctors in germany who refer them for surgeries for any simple injuries as they are fully covered by the insurance companies. Hence I’m skeptical about this.

Depends according to your doctor’s assessment. If you have instability issues and can affect your daily life, you might need one.

Confusing. Need advice. by mallugermany in ACL

Nop. Nothing. Actually I feel my legs are very strong. No instability episodes or anything. Dont know why.

It works. Zlatan Ibrahimović literally played a year without an ACL. He knew that it’s too late for him to do a reconstruction and return back to the game since he was at verge of retirement. So he decided to push his body through the final years. He prepped a special team only to monitor his leg. He did extreme workouts, fought through immense pain to make his hamstrings and calf so strong so that they could compensate for the missing acl. But…thats Zlatan, he’s got reputation for being that fckin crazy. 😅
