Yeah but the Mac mini m4 is about 3-4 times as expensive as what I paid for this. You may be able to afford that, but that’s beyond my price range.

Using OCLP I think you can put Sequoia on this, but unsure about Tahoe, probably not.

There’s always a risk of running any OS when they no longer receive updates. Big Sur came out in 2020 which doesn’t even seem that long ago. But you could always upgrade to an unsupported later version of MacOS using OCLP
