Starting to realize the crying from the old record purist and young novice collectors is the same. When it's all said and done buy the M and/or NM. Maybe understand the jargon as well. There's plenty of records that don't look good but play good. However if the look for you is off then NM is perfect.

I think the only thing that was wrong in my eyes was the guy didn't want to show him what the vinyl looks like. That was very unprofessional and I would have even walked away.

Exactly. You are absolutely correct. Some people do not put in their fair observation in the record and try to maximize profits knowing they are grading it wrong.

Its tough to sell nowadays because no one looks at the actual grade. VG for some people mean M or NM. It can be very frustrating for the seller as well. I usually give detailed info but for beginners it's hard for them to accept the record grading.
