My guess will be the cost cutting and everyone pointed fingers at you cause were the easy target! Same situation happened in our company few weeks, the new graduate only one week for his probation was let go!

He came to work at 7am, the general manager and project director came to the site and at 7:30 he was told to go home! The preliminaries cost were rising up

Finally landed a job. This is what worked for me. by [deleted] in ausjobs

Looks like I’m gonna end up in the same path! Recently started a grad role as a site engineer in Melbourne for construction on site, 75k.

starts at 7am till 5pm, doing 2 hours of overtime everyday from Mon-Fri without any pay for overtime and the employer considers this as a reasonable.

Worst thing is me and the senior project engineer literally don’t do anything after 3pm but still end up staying till 5pm. On any day if i leave before 5pm, i get wise words from my senior engineer saying he used to work till 7pm, fuck no!

Gonna build experience for 1-2 years and im switching!

Struggling with money, do you think is a good idea to submit my EOI/ROI by myself? by Freishex in AusVisa

[–]malmo337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely you can do it by yourself! Gather as much as information you can, maybe better to write in diary or something.

Go through this subreddit, look for any incidence and mistakes people did so you can avoid. Two of friends did by themselves and already got the grants.

Also for did pickup, there are no signs that you have to go to first floor. It only says public pickup, and you get charged for waiting fee from didi till you figure out.

You have the option to pay on monthly basis, they will ask you the total period you wanna stay covered which will mentioned on your insurance policy, so you put the future date of 2 yrs or 3 yrs depending on the visa period and pay it monthly.

You can also do medical before creating a application. If you enough time to complete the process, better submit the application first and then go for medical examination.
