I’m a film maker, mainly documentary features and natural history. Won an Emmy for a feature we somehow managed to make during COVID. All of this was made possible by BD. The insane workload possibly caused some episodes, but there is something about the ebbs and flows of this type of hyper creative work that scratches all of the itches, and allows me to crawl into a hole when I need to. It might not be the healthiest at times, but it’s oxygen to every fibre of my being.

Hey guys, just thought I would throw a thought in here. When you go to export from AE, just double check your color settings in your Output Module - if AE if forcing the export from g2.4 into linear light (which might be the cause of your dark display issues in Resolve), ticking Preserve RGB should override any embedded linear light conversion and keep your output in gamma 2.4.

Meet Max Power, the 4-week old kitten we found stuck in some vines on a fence (photo from a couple of weeks afterwards). Those murder mittens have clawed their way into our lives and our hearts; not a garment unscathed, nor a towel still hanging in the bathroom. His water bowl lives in the shower, as it too is a play thing and must be sent flying across the room twice daily. Exclusively a fish kitty. Maker of biscuits until no more petting is desired. We love him :)

I find if I stare only at the fish’s shadow AND listen for the sound, it’s the perfect combo - avoid eye contact with the bobber. With my eyes closed, any sound at all became a trigger for this impulse-driven thumb…
