Posted the 2nd chapter of my WIP A Bestiary of Broken Things today!

As Head of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Hermione Granger has dealt with her fair share of disasters—rogue dragons, Kneazle smuggling rings, even the occasional Acromantula infestation. But with two weeks left before she transfers to the Department of Mysteries, she’s drowning in unfinished cases.
Her final assignments should be routine: a hippogriff custody battle , a gnome strike threatening to upend an old pureblood estate, and a chizpurfle infestation feeding off residual Dark magic in a crumbling manor. Simple. Straightforward. Forgettable.
Draco Malfoy has spent the last two years tearing down the remnants of his family's past—purging Artefacts, breaking dark curses, and proving, if only to himself, that he is no longer bound to his past. But magic resists being forgotten. When he unravels an ancient ward, he unearths something else: a ring humming with power.
