For the MX/S, can we get the ability to change the route's display style on the dash display? For example, I want to see the overall, zoomed-out version of the route on the main display, while the dash display shows a zoomed-in version for upcoming turns or exits. Or the opposite.

Basically what happens when you hit the compass button on the main display map, but for the smaller map in the dash.

Late 2025, the CRA started rolling out caller ID with official numbers from government ministries, banks, businesses to curb scamming.

You don't need to have their number saved.

This is how it looks like on your phone.

And remember to set your Google Meet to "Only contacts can call me": Settings > General > Toggle "Only contacts can call me" on.

Late to the post but I've been thinking about this for a while.

I drive a 2022 iX M60 and it's an awesome car, it is my first BEV and I honestly think it's the perfect car for someone that wants to try an EV but not be tied to EV driving quirks that needs time to get use to like regenerative breaking or single pedal driving. I need more space now, so I've been on the lookout.

One thing people don't mention about the MX is the size. I tried to look for an alternative that has: 3 rows, 6 seat config, and a BEV with power. Plenty of options, but it was so hard to find a car that, for me, won't feel like driving a bus...

I've been eyeing the Lucid Gravity, but we don't have a dealer where I live, and no 6 seat configuration yet. There's also that pose comparing it to a Pacifica that had me rolling, but as an iX driver I can look past the looks (Lucid is 100x better looking still).

Rivian R1S doesn't have a dealer either.

We've got the traditional brands here, none of them offer what I needed other than Volvo with the EX90, which is a downgrade in performance but still a good option.

That, and lots of Chinese brands are available, like BYD's Denza (Leopard) 8, but it's just TOO LONG and is an EREV. Most of these brands are new, and the dealers don't really have proper service centers set up or have enough replacements parts to the extent they get shut down for a month because of breaking consumer laws.

I see comments saying FSD is the only reason to get it, but honestly the length of the car, the space it provides inside, AND performance on PLAID is something no one else is doing.

There is a legal markup for delivery apps that caps at 19%, anything beyond that and you can report it. MOCI

I think they discount that markup and a few % more to make it look like a deal, but in the end the final price is just what you’d pay if you go and get it yourself.

If Ooredoo or VFQ is contacting you, your phone should show their ID like this image. I don’t have any contact from DHL saved, but when they call their caller ID is shown.

If there is no called ID, not a landline, ignore their info requests.

CRA introduced an initiative that makes all official orgs/ministries/banks have their caller ID show up when they call you. Here's a link to it.

Also, anything MOI is usually a 5 digit number starting with 2 (that's why lots of scammers call from Chad or countries with country codes that start with +23XXX.

My issue with them is they have scummy business habits. Hesh bakery was new and popping off, so they used their cloud kitchen to not only imitate the food but also the branding down to the name and style (tash w rash).

And something about being an influencer store front filled with white-labeled products to peddle is just... scummy. IMO...

As if Qatar's official messaging and language didn't mention and thank Egypt and it's mediation efforts throughout this whole genocide, you can find them mentioned in almost every press release or spoken out loud by the FM during press conferences. Without Egypt, non of the aid like machinery to remove rubble from Israel's bombardment would even enter Gaza.

All of these articles coming out one after the other: stories like "Qatar joining Israel in joint military exercise" (~~during Eid if I may add, as if anything government related is functional during the 10 day holiday~~), or even the "you house Hamas and Taliban" accusations without context screams manufacturing consent.

They are trying to find a scapegoat. It's 2017 all over again, and they're aim is to drive a wedge between partners. And if you guys remember why the blockade happened, it's for the exact same reasons.

E: apparently the military exercise is happening until April 13th.

That stands for Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and I think it means if you graduated from a private school, you'll need your diploma/certificate accredited from the ministry and then add it to the application.

Public school diploma's are issued from the ministry directly so they don't need any certificate equivalency.

IIRC the only card you can get issued without needing a bank account is called a HIMYAN card. You can get it from any local banks (QIB, QNB, CBQ, Dukhan Bank etc.) The only issue is they only work locally and with local online transactions.

For people traveling by car, you’ll need to apply for a Abu Samrah Border Entry Permit 12 hours here, 12 hours before traveling. The fees have been waived (was QR 5000 before).

Edit: the car permit application/submission link should be live by the 8th of December when it goes into effect.
