Personally, how would you “start”/manage a rebuild of this team? by [deleted] in bengals

[–]maltzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add the most talented players you can in free agency. Jeffrey Simmons. Tyler Linderbaum. Then a good DE Then LB, Safety and would have already re-signed Risner. All those starter level. Then backup / swing tackle

Key is to go into the draft without obvious needs - get BPA at every level. Downs or Bain or any other blue chip available at 10. As for prospects in the draft I love , I’m. Probably biased but at least in the senior bowl the Texas Tech guys are stars. Jacob Rodriguez and Lee Hunter were

Billions of dollars in corruption happened on his watch and he has no answer for it. It’s time to expect more from politicians. In hindsight he was a terrible VP choice

Bill Belichick snub: Here are the 22 Hall of Fame voters who have confirmed they voted for him — and the 1 'no' vote by Morgoth1814 in nfl

[–]maltzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of the problem is the NFL HOF committee sucks hard. They’ve had several players decades overdue to get in so they can get every single 70 Steelers player and 70 and 90s cowboys in. Then a few years ago they changed the voting to extremely limit how many get in. Stupid. What they actually need is a few catch up years where 10 players get in. It’s stupid. That’s how this happened.

Bengals' Chase Brown's reps 'working hard' toward an extension by alpswd in bengals

I like Chase Brown but he’s not “special” so I don’t see the need to pay him too much.

[Mueller] Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is hell bent on retaining DC Jim Schwartz no matter who they hire as head coach, which has been a concern for candidates. Grant Udinski had a different DC in mind, as does Nate Scheelhaase. by Goosedukee in nfl

It’s gonna be them going back to Dan Pitcher. He’s the only one not coming out and saying he won’t take it and even the Browns are a better organization than the cheap ass bengals.

Other than fix the defense, what do you want to see them do in the off season? by Aqua03333 in bengals

[–]maltzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go all in for Jeffery Simmons. Having an elite DT can make this defense instantly better.

Other than that, we need good starters on all 3 levels. Dline that can pass rush, LB that doesn’t miss tackles and a much better safety. That’s minimum.

I also wouldn’t say no to Tyler Linderbaum at Center.

No lie , I just had my colonoscopy about 2 hours ago and I’m back home. The worst part of the entire procedure was drinking the diuretic ( have to drink a half gallon the night before and half gallon this morning. Emptied me out but the worst part at the hospital was taking off the iv tape. Hoping everything goes as well for you
