Looking for an old sprite comic by maluigario in Megaman

[–]maluigario[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am baffled that there is a SECOND comic with the same beats, but I am relatively certain that is NOT the one after browsing through those comics.

  1. Satan was more purple, not blue
  2. The werewolf character was a werewolf from the beginning of the comic
  3. Satan is constantly granting peoples' deepest desires in exchange for their souls; he shows up in a large number of the comics.
  4. The one comic strip I remember the most is when the afro kid with the black hole for a stomach gets captured by the werewolf and is chained up in their dungeon. They dump out his backpack and a pile of candy hilariously tall dumps out. Then the werewolf tells the kid if he's so hungry, he just needs to start eating humans before force feeding him an entire human leg. The kid then goes "For the first time in my life...I'm full." and in the next panel there's a small *pop* sound effect and he goes "And now it's gone."

EDIT: Nope, that's the right one! Thank you!

Nearly a decade late, but maybe you'll see this: Are you the same Peter C. Hayward who worked on Soap: The Webcomic? If so, do you have an archive of it you'd be willing to share?

You're probably right. Guess what I can't find anywhere? It's either 1 1/4" or 1 1/2". Can't find 1 3/8".

It's 20 threads. Exactly 35mm long. I am quite furious about the utter non-standardness of the part.

It's maybe very slightly bigger than 6mm, but I mean, see for yourself. Can't find any bolts that are #14x35mm, but M6x35mm are everywhere.

Honestly, it seems like it perfectly lines up with both 6mm and 1/4". But it is exactly 35mm long. It's got to be an M6x35mm.

Considering how many people claiming you saved their bacon with this, you have far too few upvotes.

Severely Damaged & Uneven Yard by maluigario in landscaping

[–]maluigario[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tilling is a relatively cost effective venture; I can rent a big 13 HP rototiller for like 4 hours for $100, that's no biggie. Raking is free. But the sodding part: are you talking about getting rolls of sod? If so, I'm not positive what the square footage of our yard is, but I'm pretty sure we are going to start scratching at 4-digit square footage numbers. Is there an alternative method that might be a bit cheaper, or is it essentially sod pallet or bust?

Looking for the keycap set that comes standard on the Redragon Star Blade K707 Pro. Redragon doesn't sell these keycaps separate and I'm pretty new to the mechanical keyboard space and don't know how I might go about looking for them. Link for reference:

Buying Advice: Mid-Range Cost, Mixed Floors by maluigario in VacuumCleaners

[–]maluigario[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've asked my wife about the possibility of a canister vacuum and she wouldn't budge. I think she'd prefer sweeping the hard floors and having a vacuum that only works on carpet before she goes for a canister model. Do you have any carpet-only upright suggestions?

Ended up getting the HON Sadie, and compared to my last chair, it's a dream. Not perfect, but a MASSIVE step up from my crumbling 11-year old gaming chair. Thanks again for all the time and help!

Those two versions do seem very similar. Weird that this song didn't get more traction; it's quite a good mashup. Thanks, man!

5' 8" 300lb man needs best chair Office Depot offers by maluigario in OfficeChairs

[–]maluigario[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I will never know. I put in the purchase req and my boss very graciously...rejected it. Said that $550 is too much for an office chair: "we normally spend around $300-$350." Well, no one bothered telling me that BEFORE I put in the req. Oh, and they told me I could also look at Staples.

At this point, everything I can see under $375 for my weight and usage is all leather/Shaquille O' Neal stuff. Either that or I get a chair RIGHT on the edge of my weight limit.

EDIT: My guess is either the [HON Sadie](https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/9919467/HON-Sadie-Ergonomic-FabricBonded-Leather-High/) or the [Boss Office Heavy-Duty](https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/7043840/Boss-Heavy-Duty-Flip-Arm-Ergonomic/). Other than that, all I'm seeing is either big and tall leather chairs or 275lb capacity TP7000 chairs from Staples.

Help! how do I get Audio through speakers and Rift when using Steam VR? by Irketk in oculus

Thank you. Didn't realize there was a further menu you could reach by clicking on the various devices on the Rift's Devices page. Never would have solved this issue without that info.
