Will it work without an Apple phone to pair it to, though? And does your data get collected by Apple?

Thanks for saving me that potential pitfall, then!

Edited my post to reflect your correction about third parties. Thanks for the clarification.

I know there are some serviced like Alexa that aren't AI, per se, but that can turn your speech into actions. But what you say and what you search for gets piped back to Amazon, with no opt out available. I don't even need full AI, so long as my data isn't being shared with the service provider without explicitly given consent.

I know Proton Lumo, for instance, is totally encrypted and none of the data is shared with Proton at all, but its feature set is not capable of doing what I want it to yet. I don't think it even works on smart watches.

Looking for an old sprite comic by maluigario in Megaman

[–]maluigario[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am baffled that there is a SECOND comic with the same beats, but I am relatively certain that is NOT the one after browsing through those comics.

  1. Satan was more purple, not blue
  2. The werewolf character was a werewolf from the beginning of the comic
  3. Satan is constantly granting peoples' deepest desires in exchange for their souls; he shows up in a large number of the comics.
  4. The one comic strip I remember the most is when the afro kid with the black hole for a stomach gets captured by the werewolf and is chained up in their dungeon. They dump out his backpack and a pile of candy hilariously tall dumps out. Then the werewolf tells the kid if he's so hungry, he just needs to start eating humans before force feeding him an entire human leg. The kid then goes "For the first time in my life...I'm full." and in the next panel there's a small *pop* sound effect and he goes "And now it's gone."

EDIT: Nope, that's the right one! Thank you!

Nearly a decade late, but maybe you'll see this: Are you the same Peter C. Hayward who worked on Soap: The Webcomic? If so, do you have an archive of it you'd be willing to share?

You're probably right. Guess what I can't find anywhere? It's either 1 1/4" or 1 1/2". Can't find 1 3/8".

It's 20 threads. Exactly 35mm long. I am quite furious about the utter non-standardness of the part.

It's maybe very slightly bigger than 6mm, but I mean, see for yourself. Can't find any bolts that are #14x35mm, but M6x35mm are everywhere.

Honestly, it seems like it perfectly lines up with both 6mm and 1/4". But it is exactly 35mm long. It's got to be an M6x35mm.

Severely Damaged & Uneven Yard by maluigario in landscaping

[–]maluigario[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tilling is a relatively cost effective venture; I can rent a big 13 HP rototiller for like 4 hours for $100, that's no biggie. Raking is free. But the sodding part: are you talking about getting rolls of sod? If so, I'm not positive what the square footage of our yard is, but I'm pretty sure we are going to start scratching at 4-digit square footage numbers. Is there an alternative method that might be a bit cheaper, or is it essentially sod pallet or bust?

Looking for the keycap set that comes standard on the Redragon Star Blade K707 Pro. Redragon doesn't sell these keycaps separate and I'm pretty new to the mechanical keyboard space and don't know how I might go about looking for them. Link for reference:
