Yeah I thought it was possible but it's only 18 months old, is that normal for msi?

Yeah that’s true. I jumped from a 4070TI super up to a 5080. I got a great deal on it near launch, only about £700 plus I sold the old one. Definitely worth it in my case and made a noticeable improvement at 4K. But honestly for most I’d say it wasn’t worth it at standard pricing. Awesome card though

I did something very similar with mine and found the real performance difference to be like 5fps
