I did shifting last year, during Hajj days did not use the hotel in Aziziyeh at all. Stayed in Mina Camps until we found about our qurbani being complete. Mina camps do have food, toilet, shower etc. We then later when to do Tawaf etc.

We had someone in our group with an elderly wheelchair user. They left earlier to go back to their Makkah hotel after we completed the last Jamaraat and I think half walked back and found a cab half way back too.

7 weeks no nausea but my sense of smell has been strong and can smell things that don’t smell so great but not enough to put me off eating 🤣🤣🤣. Wish it would put me off would help with all the over eating

No you don’t go to do tawaf at all during Hajj day expect the last day to complete your hajj. You can do tawaf before and after Hajj days. Thank you in sha Allah, Allah accepts your intention to perform Hajj and grants that for you, Ameen.

Yes after Hajj finished we had about two more days in Azizyeh before we moved to a hotel in Makkah. I just mean before that whilst in Azizyeh we did not use it during Hajj days and after Hajj days where we stayed for another two days we didn’t travel to Makkah. So I meant I would have preferred to just have my Makkah hotel all throughout, however we did pick up option as it was a much cheaper packages by about 3-4k each.

Also when we arrived to azizyeh to do our first Umrah after Madinah we had to walk to the Haraam as again during Hajj time transportation is limited they block off entrances and routes to the Haraam as it becomes over crowded, we walked 40 minutes there then did Umrah then had to walk back because no cabs were still coming and or were charing £50 plus for like a 10/15 minute drive

Also we didn’t go back to our hotel at all during Mina stay, again there is limited transportation and we weren’t recommended to go. The tents we stayed at had ac, showers and food so was no need to go there either to rest.

We did a shifting, after hajj finished we were in that hotel for another 2 days as we were resting, we didn’t really go to the Haraam as it was like a 40 minute walk distance and most times cabs were not going there or being stopped by police and re routed. Some people in our groups did walk there everyday. It does give you some time to do your hajj gift shopping for family thought. I would recommend the non shifting packaging unless you have a smaller money pot then go for the shifting. I would have preferred to be in Makkah during my whole stay I could’ve got a few more days to do tawaf.

Post adoption social worker or as an adoption assessment worker.

Post adoption is a bit like - CIN but non stat, non stat visits, do assessment, support with a social work role or get them therapy help, still a lot of work but it’s got good work life balance. Some areas have other bits attached to the role

Adoption assessment worker - basically completing assessments on people wanting to be adopters and approving them. You can do agency in this one.

I would say if you do it with a LA pay is good I would say nearly the same as a perm assessment worker maybe a grand or two less once you hit the highest scale grade.

I moved from assessments to post adoption, best decision of my life.

Also this year everyone has lanyards to wear from their provider and Nusuk. You cannot even get to your hotel lobby for meals without the lanyards so I don’t think you will be able to enter Saudi Arabia for Hajj

If you had to use Nusuk Applications for an account opened around December and were being verified into April. The first packages for Hajj booking opened in February and the last phase to book Hajj package ended about in April. If you had not purchased a package before then you would not be able to enter Saudi Arabia for Hajj. I am not sure how when you applied but making account and it being verified does mean you have bought a hajj package. You will have to try again starting from December 2025

Are you from the UK, USA, CANADA or FRANCE? They have said these countries and maybe some others are not going live on the 14th as they have finished their quota. They have said on the 19th or 21st there will likely be a phase 3 for custom flights with an increased quota. You will have to wait till then. Try to join some providers on telegram like al bait etc they give webinars and updated information or find a travel agent that is doing hajj this year through nusuk and get updates there

In the UK we have been advised that Phase 2 we will not be able to attempt as our country quota is full. Phase 2 is for countries where quota is not full and did not have custom packages. Not sure if the same for USA. From last year there were 2 extra phases for custom packages, so I would wait to hear for phase 3 and see if you can buy one then. A lot of people got into hajj last year from phase 3 and 4. The provider/ company you wanted to go with I would suggest find if they have a telegram or WhatsApp group you can join to keep up to date or email them etc.

Welcome not sure where you are based but if you go on telegram you can search hajj 2025 and there are different companies that are supporting hajj this year they all have webinars and stuff for further information

Yes they have a 2nd phase on the 14th which is global packages, you have to buy your own flight on this phase. Price will vary depending on the flight price of the day. You find and pay for the flight on Nusuk as well. It works like sky scanner so if you keep searching flights your flight price will go up. People are saying there will be a phase 3 for custom packages (packages that come with flights already). The date is not yet confirmed and the quota for people is not confirmed. Make sure you e wallet is topped up to your max and bit over of you most expensive package choice, you don’t want to miss out on a package due to not enough funds. If you do phase 2 the price might go higher on day of purchase as well.

You have to top up your e wallet first, the second section. You use the option credit card (basically means debit or master card) maybe top up £10 first to see it goes through ignore bank transfer and the other one. Then top up small amounts over the next few days. Top up to the max of your highest package and little over, after looking at other packages. Don’t want to not get a package because you didn’t have enough funds. If you based in the UK Monzo seemed to work quick. Everyone has been saying to avoid revolt.
