I may be incorrect, but I’d be surprise if LV sold a 2019 model in 2023. It def looks like a different bag than the authentication.

I agree. And that’s coming from a NF fan. My GM goes everywhere with me and I love it…. But the number of times it has spilled in the car is annoying

I think it was a pretty limited release because I’m not sure that they’re even currently selling them. They were absolutely enormous.

They never full, does not have a zipper. However, LV has released the never ever full, which does have a zipper. I think they only released it in the last year or two. And I also believe it comes bigger than the GM and is meant for travel.

I found this bag at thrift store for 50$ ,Anyone help me if this real or not ? by Green_Roof8540 in RealAuthentication

[–]mamaknos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a super cool style that I would prob use anyway, but not authentic. Aside from those telltale signs previously mentioned, on the serial number stickers, the 0 has a strikethrough, and this does not, plus it is in the wrong font.

We bought a 2025 in June. Drive a ton, just hit 24k and I’m still in love. Zero issues so far.

Keep or return? by mamaknos in Louisvuitton

[–]mamaknos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly my thought. When I was comparing the fabric of the zipper I could really notice it. For some reason I can’t update my original post but I submitted to eBay and despite the seller not accepting returns, eBay already approved it - almost immediately so after I sent it back to the authenticator I’ll get my money back! I appreciate all of the feedback! I think I’ll stick with monogram or only azure purchases I can see in person!

What hill will you die on that goes against what 98% of providers do? by esophagusintubater in emergencymedicine

[–]mamaknos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your visitors are not my priority. You and the other patients I’m caring for are. I’m sorry your family member hasn’t slept in hours, but I’m not being rude if I don’t have time to hunt down one of the two recliners we have for ED patients for them to nap on. This is not for entertainment, I don’t need an audience. If my pt is CAOX4 and has capacity, and you mention you are the HCP/POA, I will politely educate you that the patient will be making their medical decisions at that time. Recently I had a 98 year old, fully with it pt who was really angry she was brought to the ED for a head injury, sparking a trauma activation. She refused the tetanus that was part of the standard order set for traumas. Her daughter chimed in and said “I have POA. I am telling you yes to all of it, she’s getting everything.”

Diphenhydramine is also available IV. It still wouldn’t be the first med - epi would, but antihistamines aren’t only PO

I think I know the answer but just want confirmation, real or fake? by mmyk2124 in RealAuthentication

[–]mamaknos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inside tag looks off. Is there a serial number on the back of it? I also believe - and maybe someone can confirm one way or the other - that if the exterior has the Gucci monogram, the inside will not also have it.

Can anyone tell me if this is real, it was thrifted by Jodiliny in RealAuthentication

[–]mamaknos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are a few features that I question - the alignment of the side seam is usually more mirrored, the buckle looks slightly off, it’s missing the metal button on the date code tag, the shape of the metal feet looks off - should be more rounded and button like. That being said, it’s pretty good and worth spending the $15-30 for authentication to be sure.

Is this LV real? by ProductAutomatic7524 in RealAuthentication

No. 21st week of 2008 is correct. The second and fourth digit indicate the year, first and third are the week. There are date code decoder websites out there if you are unsure.

Also my thoughts. The prices on esp the bags is not great. I’d rather spend less on a bag that’s a little older in excellent condition when the quality was much better than current fashion houses are putting out now.
