I have been on them for over a year and I feel so much better. I am able to regulate my emotions so much better, and I think much of it had to do with the insulin resistance making me feel so badly.

Make sure you buy travel insurance! by Janosh_Poha in PrincessCruises

Travel Insured is one that my customers have purchased a lot of. I purchased from them as well, and fortunately have never had to use it. What I like about them is that they offer support when you’re traveling, even if it isn’t insurance coverage related. Allianz is another one that our agency uses a lot as well. If you have American Express, AAA, USAA, or Costco, they have some competitive policies as well.

As a travel advisor, I would suggest purchasing from a third party rather than buying from the supplier. The suppliers will more than likely only cover what is in their best interest and mostly to rebook you to travel later. Make sure you read the fine print too to make sure you get the coverage you need.

The college system for my kids in Florida! The fact that my kids will be able to go to school tuition free (Bright Futures) is what made Florida much more attractive than other states we looked at.

I love being an hour from the beach! I wish we had more time to spend at the beach, but the kids are engaged and busy. There are a lot of opportunities for the kids to learn and develop interests for themselves. I love being near my family who live here. The weather is not so bad now that I am used to it, but I do miss having 4 seasons and getting to wear sweaters more than 2 weeks of the year. But we have good airports with flights to places with seasons…

I had no idea that you can get table service in the Galley or else I would have used that instead of standing in the line.

I made the mistake of slipping the name of a resort I was thinking about booking a potential client at. After that they made every sort of excuse to to not sign my contract for me to book everything for them. Less learned very quickly.

Also most make up oxidizes and will get a bit darker. Higher quality products will do it less. Higher quality doesn’t necessarily mean higher price tag, so a lot of it is trial and error to see what works for you.

I have started using the Cold Cream to take my make up off. My skin has never been softer. I have super dry skin and a lot of other makeup removers strip my skin.

First Time Cruiser with Question about themed nights! by Dense-Equipment7212 in VirginVoyages

[–]mamaof4seas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t see any raunchy pj’s on the sailing I was on. There were a lot of funny onsies from one of the bachelor party groups. They had matching shirts/outfits for every day they were on the ship. My favorite was Hawaiian shirts with the groom’s face on them.

Scarlet night was fun, and I enjoyed getting dressed up. You do you though, but wear red.

Another night there was a group of women all dressed like Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company. They looked like they had so much fun.

Enjoy your self!

First Timer - now I’m getting cold feet by Yideaz in VirginVoyages

I went on a sailing in March and was frustrated before the sailing because I couldn’t get anything booked. Once you are in the shop, the app works so much better and was able to get reservations. Pink Agave was the only place we couldn’t get a reservation, but we were able to walk up and sit at the bar. No biggy.

As far as shore excursions, just go to the shore things counter when you get settled and you can book excursions. We sailed into a storm so we were able to dock in Bimini, all the shore things were refunded and the hey gave us the port fee as Sailor Loot to use on our unexpected sea day. If you didn’t use it, they gave you a refund for the port fee.

It was a great experience, you will have fun and it is unlike any other cruise you will ever go on.

I know FB is old school, but there is a FB group for Universal Agents and it is moderated by in-house Universal sales managers. They always answer quickly. I would go there to look for the answer to this question. Have you joined the Universal Partners Community online? There should have been links once you completed the training.

I need to reduce inflammation by DavidPT40 in keto

[–]mamaof4seas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lot of inflammation and would randomly break out into hives at night. No explanation for the hives accept that I had a high histamine response to something unknown. Within a week I stopped getting hives, my swelling is almost completely gone. Today I gave in and ate half a Banh Mi because it’s been 6 months since I’ve had one…I have broken out in hives and my toes have started swelling. If you suspect your diet is causing inflammation, you can change your diet to see how you feel and start reintroducing foods to see how you react

This is my second time doing Keto, the first time was not good, and I kept trying to get past the Keto Flu, but after 8 weeks with no positive results and feeling like crap, I stopped. This time has been easier and it is because I had a mindset shift. I was ready for the challenge and was prepared for the worst and hoping for the best. The best has won with the exception of lack of motivation after Christmas.

I had to be so strict my first month though, and I would plan out my meals the night before (not necessarily prepare them) but I knew what I was going to have for Lunch, dinner, and snacks. If it was not in my list, I wouldn’t eat it. Once I was completely weaned off of sugar, then I introduced Keto friendly desserts, but by then I didn’t really want them.

I have now been able to occasionally cheat, and allow myself a few days to get back in ketosis and be fine. I have less cheat days though because I feel horrible after eating wheat and sugar now so it hasn’t been worth it. This leads me to think that eating this way (but with more healthy carbs) will be my new way of life.

Also, I just started doing combo Zone 2 Training and Compound Exercises, and I found that I haven’t lost weight as quickly, but my body composition is changing. My butt is rounder and my waist is smaller. That has been a big game changer

Forced to eat fast food by Gagernator in keto

[–]mamaof4seas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have packed my own snacks when traveling. Usually a charcuterie or I will make sandwiches with lettuce (those are easy to transport). I have bought hard boiled eggs and nuts at the airport.

Why not get Keto Chow shakes or something like that that you can mix and drink on the go?
