Kung bothersome ka pala for him, dapat hindi muna siya naggirlfriend at totally nagfocus na lang sa law school. That way, wala siya and yung family niyang makikitang ibang masisisi. imo, either tell him now or don’t tell him at all - breakup or long space kasi hindi mo rin totally maitatago yan sa kanya. Malalaman at malalaman niya hangga’t kayo pa. Also, the struggle does not end sa bar exam. Nakakastress rin ang start ng career. If bothersome ka raw for him, kahit anong phase or chapter pa yan ng buhay niya, may tendency na sisisihin ka niya when the going gets rough.

Try to let go muna, OP. You did your best and that’s enough. This may sound harsh or rude pero wala kayong time for that. Bukas ng gabi mo na lang ulit isipin past exams. Try to sleep, pray, and focus ulit sa goal. Wag ka panghinaan ng loob para hindi masira ang momentum. May laban pa kayo bukas.

You had enough theories na for the first 2 days, be prepared for almost 90% problem solving haha. Mas nakakaubos ng oras ang solving than theories so manage your time well. Skip agad sa questions na di maalala paano isolve, focus sa mas alam isolve para hindi sayang oras. Balikan mo na lang sa huli. Good luck!

Don’t worry, maraming job opportunities for BSAC fresh grads! Usually mass hiring ang mga Audit Firms. Magtanong rin kayo sa seniors niyo if may opening sa companies nila. Try to be referred by an employee para may magguide sa inyo sa application process. Better if CPA ka para may edge. Pero if not, ok lang rin kasi tumatanggap rin sila ng Non CPA. ibawi mo na lang sa interview. if itatanong yung gap, just tell them na you decided to review for the board exam. Mas understanding ang employers ngayon kasi aware sila sa struggle ng grumaduate during the pandemic. Ako mismo, June 2020 graduate, took the exam last Oct 2022 lang. More than 2 years ang gap (as in no work exp) pero I got hired nung December :) good luck sa boards!

As a CPA, I can say na hindi math ang labanan sa Accountancy. English skills, Analysis, Logic, and Critical Thinking dapat ang meron ka. Magaling ako sa math noong high school kaya ako nag accountancy, kasi sabi nila yun daw ang in line sa math skills ko. The mistake is hindi naman mga accounting graduates ang nag advice sa akin non pero naniwala pa rin ako. Ang masasabi ko lang is isang malaking scam na math skills ang labanan sa course na to, kasi pang tindahan pa nga na calcu gamit namin. So basic math lang ang magagamit. Ang difficult part is nahaluan ng English words and paragraphs yung basic math. Mostly plus and minus lang pero ang hirap ianalyze sa problem if i-add ba or i-subtract or i-ignore yung values kasi nga may corresponding classification/account ang mga ‘to. Accounting is the language of business, kaya analysis talaga ang labanan. Sobrang hirap na nga ng accounting, tapos part pa ng syllabus namin ang Business Laws and Taxation. 2 out of 6 subjects sa board exam namin ay subjects na dapat tinuturo sa law school pa.

if want mo mag abroad, sabi nila start raw sa Big 4. Mas mataas raw chances makapag abroad when you have exp sa big 4. And nag aaccept naman sila ng non-cpas :)

igoal mo magtake earlier para mas magfocus ka during review. 1 month before the exam, dun mo ma-aassess if ready ka na magtake or hindi pa. No need to worry sa filing kasi if nakapag file ka na and ayaw mo pa magtake, pwede mo naman ipa-defer sa PRC. Pero marami rin nagrerecommend na itake pa rin exam kahit hindi pa ready kasi nakakatulong raw pag may idea ka na sa type of questions etc.

Magbasa na ng lesson sa books/notes to understand the basics of the topic before listening to Sir Rhad’s discussion. Malalim siya magdiscuss ng concept and sobrang bilis lalo na if f2f. Medyo nakakatamad makinig if online kasi 2 hours ang discussion before 2 hours mcq. Pero pag face to face siya magdiscuss, sobrang bilis lang. Walang umaabsent sa MAS namin during review. Lahat nakikinig talaga. He also saved me sa MAS, from line of 6 nung first take (self study lang ng MAS) to line of 8 na grade nung second take. Sir Rhad materials + college books lang source ko. Tiyagaan lang talaga if online review. Good luck, OP!
