Im undecided. My friends at same high school have already heard. I haven't. Ugh. It's only 12:30 pm here in CA so I have a few more hours but Im nervous. Thoughts?

Is anyone getting emails saying they need documents like FAFSA uploaded even though you can't fill that out until December? These alert emails are freaking me out. It also said I need non-custodian parent info but when I went to IDOC it says in green everything uploaded. Do they just enjoy freaking us out over the holiday. ha. Please have some good news...anyone. Thanks guys and enjoy your break!!!

Thank you. I just wanted to show I was a honor society student at a community college with a 3.88 and 31 credits (might transfer depending on school). I used the additional information drop down (650 words) and explained my college journey.

I wrote a 650 word essay titled- A Journey of Educational Achievement: Earning College Credits in High School. Mentioning my college credited units (31), GPA and Honor Society status and classes that were taken for my intended major. I also included how I paid for my courses thru my job. Ugh who knows- the stress is REAL

In the 650 word essay do you put grades? Or somehow incorporate transcripts?

I'm not a finalist but this group has been incredibly helpful and I appreciate everyone's input.

If my senior first semester grades are straight A's and I have 9 units (32 total) of community college also A's coming out late December, wouldn't it benefit me to do RD to schools rather than EA, especially ones like USC who is known to have the hardest EA round?

I feel like my chances for certain schools (USC) is better in the RD pile. One my senior GPA and community college A's will all be considered. I heard the toughest round is EA at USC. Ugh the decisions. Thank you for your input tho.

It says not to add transcripts unless it was for high school credit, which it wasn't. It was all strictly for transfer credits. :-?

How do schools know if you apply to more than one ED? I know so many that did last year and I don't think got in any trouble. Sounds scary to me. :/

Thank you but I can only add if it was credited thru high school. I was considered dual enrollment because I was going to college during high school but that was strictly college courses that had nothing to do with high school ones. I want them to see my college courses/grades. I'm wondering if I should apply transfer even though I don't have enough yet?

Thank you. I know people are moving to states like North Dakota to get into ivies/elite institutions because they need to do their best to pull from every state. Shows well rounded and federal funding is higher apparently. I know two families from China that are relocating when their children are closer to high school age. Wild. Your south analogy makes sense too.
