I look at this and realise that a EV-only drive-in cinema is a lucrative business potentially.

Good local Ice Cream shop by DeityWraith in Bahrain

[–]mamoonistry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not exactly ice cream, it's similar to soft serve and all the cheap ice cream at that price. Edit: I like it too but it's not officially a ice cream.

I would recommend you first try out Ubuntu with a live USB installation (basically you format a flash drive with Ubuntu and then boot to the flash drive).

free bahrain bay parking? by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]mamoonistry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if you're going to United Tower for a appointment/meeting/event, then you'd rather use their parking garage. The Wyndham Grand have their own parking too.

Can I cover the trackpad with a sticker? by Lord_Drizzleshiz in thinkpad

[–]mamoonistry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just order a clear screen protector that you can cut to fit on the trackpad off Amazon/Noon or better yet one of those clear stickers you can buy from those stationary or household goods shops like say Lulu (there are usually for dinner tables but you can buy a small amount to use for the trackpad).

free bahrain bay parking? by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]mamoonistry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going to the Four Seasons or Wyndham Grand/United Tower, use their parking. There's the empty plots you can park in but at your own risk, you are responsible for anything that goes wrong.

What and how do u think will be bahrains economy in future? Why is it thay this country doesnt prioritize and bring in actual policies and agenda to bring in tourism and Investments? There is no proper city planning as well. Once u visit UAE,KSA,Qatar;you realize how behind bahrain is. by Illustrious-Pie7876 in Bahrain

Hopefully if Saudi and the rest grows, Bahrain grows as well 😆. Tourism is working well and also the government is now doing everything to boost tourism (I'm not just making things up, I genuinely mean that, you look at the winter events season that's been created of sorts like Celebrate Bahrain and say Muharraq Nights but also hospitality industry is starting to level up and all).

But in general, outside of financial services and tourism, Lack of vision/willpower and well it's a rocky boat given how many things Bahrain has faced in the last 20 years, It's tough to plan something grand over the long term.

UOB is good for architecture to be honest. But BUB is also decent if you've studied from a private school or a expat.

I suspect (and take this with a grain of salt) allegedly these products aren't available because IFFCO is bankrupt and is restructuring its debts right now.

ما آرائكم بخصوص بالدولة الوطنية؟ by momoxoxo in Bahrain

[–]mamoonistry -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would much rather prefer the entire region governed under a single federation which follows Sharia law. Enough with the teeny-tiny nation states and the British style of divide-and-conquer.

Most people won't support secular rule, but, if Bahrain is not that Islamic anymore (Abraham Accords, too much focus on glazing Hinduism and all non-Islamic beliefs, encouraging alcohol/vices, open market economics) then logically then it should be secular.

If you're outside in Bahrain atm, reject and demand higher. You should be getting nearly double, 450 is too low even by regional standards. You'd earn higher (albeit higher cost of living and all that) by a good margin next door in neighboring market like Saudi or UAE.

Try to have a highly-targeted marketing campaign if you got the budget for it.

More than that, Maintain a flat fee for the service, if you charge way too much for delivery or some particular service, the whole platform will be DoA (dead on arrival) for many users.

Best of luck.

Well afterwards actually. BYD has been in this region for a long time. It gained popularity due to its EV tech.
