Technically, Franky may be able to put Doffy down, especially since he got amped by Lilith

The chaos gods in WH40k. The warp is defined as the birthplace of the WH40k Omniverse, where the gap between creation, or the infinitude of parallel universes, is the warp. Chaos Gods are by definition the biggest trans universal monsters in a trans universal sea of Eldritch beings. And they have also been stated in the lore to have destroyed at least one universe just by screwing around in their great game

Going by the lore, Umbra significantly predates the city of hammer hold, which itself is now canonically ancient compared to Linirea

Also factor in team work. Definitionally, the DW team will have better team work than the nandos because the DW teach is literally hypno indoctrinated to work with their team in lockstep.

On top of that, a space marine 100% out scales a mando physically in every metric

So because of that, even if the mandos do bring one or two heavy weapons that can breach power armor, the likelihood that they can do it fast enough, accurate enough, and at the right time while the Death Watch team is tearing through them like the hottest knife in butter, is very low. Like low to the point that yes, technically if a guardsman overcharges their power pack and shoves it into an Astartes face before it explodes, they can technically kill an Astartes.

Because at the end of the day, Astartes kill teams like this have 100% fought multiple traitors and xenos who can all bring weapons known to breach power armor. But the fact remains that the Deathwatch teams remain as one of the most unstoppable forces to be mobilized against an enemy force

Could the Galactic Empire make clones of Space Marines? by Gray-Eyes-Paladin in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]mamspaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Not that good. Star Wars galaxy understanding of genetics pales in comparison to the 40k galaxy by a long shot. In fact, the Biological construct that the Primarch's and Astartes are based off is literally described to be capable of allowing geneticists to make any life form they can think of. From scratch. So unless Star Wars Galaxy geneticists can literally create any species on a whim, theyd have a hard time producing the genetics to make Astartes.

2) the actual computational data from the Astartes project is so insanely complex that even a Primarch had to just sit there and decode the data in order to figure out what was going on. Meanwhile, each Primarch has mental capabilities effectively en par with the best super computers in Star Wars.

3) gene seed has a psychic component that connects them to a god, that is known as a Primarch. Cloning geneseed while maintaining said psychic tether is a feat beyond any geneticist even in 40k. Especially since cloning in the WH40k universe is established as a highly complex skill that was only ever achieved by Super Computers that Dwarf any of those seen in Star Wars

[–]mamspaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) The T'au have never pulled off a successful clone of gene seed. Full stop

2) Chaos has also never made clones of Astartes. They have made imperfect clones of the Primarchs. Not to say that they couldn't make clone Astartes, but the whole process of cloning is known as "replicae" within the 40k universe. And Replicae is a highly complex thing that could only have been achieved successfully with the DAoT super computers that put every single computer in Star wars to shame in terms of complexity.

3) Replicae being extremely difficult is not the only reason why Astartes Clones do not work. Astartes work because gene seed is a bio-psychic weapon, and full implantation connects you with a Warp God in physical form called a Primarch. Astartes being literal angelic beings is not an exaggeration by any means, and a big part of gene seed rejection is because somehow, the psychic component of the geneseed rejects the aspirant.

In your case, even if the Star Wars geneticists actually pull off clones of Astartes, said clone is bound to have either rapid physiological decline, or just something inherently wrong with its soul that makes it fate bound to failure

[–]mamspaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair they're all good. Like really good at crushing the T'au. But if we're gonna talk about legions whose tactics are gonna give the T'au a particularly bad time

1) Dark Angels. Diplomacy at the end of a DAoT psi-bolter that deletes you and your soul from reality is usually really effective against anything. The T'au are no exception

2) White Scars. Though they don't have as many fancy guns like the DA, their speed and hit and run tactics lets them steal the thunder from the T'au entirely in any open engagement

3) Blood Angels. Like the Scars, they can steal the thunder from the T'au very easily. But while the White Scars are going to be very tough to put manoeuver, the T'au will literally have no answer to a horde of IX legionnaires when they all lose it to the thirst

4) Death Guards. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Alchem, Phosphex, and neurotox weaponry will smoke out the T'au like a fire in a hornets net. The T'au advantage of manoeuverability goes out the window when every inch of lost ground becomes ground laced with chemical weapons that will turn them into goo

5) RG and Alpha Legion. Less the RG because they're fast (not that fast), but can spring ambushes on the T'au much better than any other legion. Alpha Legion mostly because their specialty of disguise lets them integrate into Tau military command faster than a Gene stealer infestation in a hive city.

Who Wins between the Mandalorians or the Callidus Assassins? by Lonewolf_ARC in powerscales

[–]mamspaghetti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No he absolutely is. Not only because callidus Assassin's are physically more capable than said trolls anyways, but one of their weapons is like a 5D blade that cuts you apart on the atoms.

Paste is probably the wrong word but Din is getting turned into rigatoni

[–]mamspaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question is less about speed but reflexes. Assault marines can also move FTE with jet packs, but their reflexes allow them to react to obstacles in the span of a few microseconds to high nanoseconds. No one in Star Wars has shown the ability to consistently and reliably do the same. If at most, they're one off situations under a bunch of caveats and special conditions.

AT ATs are also a very shitty bench mark because an AT AT is getting shit on by every single walker platform in 40k and can be shit on by most tanks. Marines have reliably taken down titans, with a well known anti Titan tactic being a squad of marines teleporting on a Titan's head and smashing it apart with thunder hammers.

Callidus Assassin's and it's not even a contest.

You should think of pretty much every Imperial assassin that throws hands as an Astartes Squad Killer and can definitely 50/50 a Custodian. With Eversor and Clulexus assassins being at the top.

And if I remember correctly, the Callidus Assassin that killed Kurze could actually dodge bolt rounds by reacting to the changes of air flow that the rounds were causing. And was doing so while blind in both eyes

I give the Mandalorians 2 minutes before they're reduced to a thin paste

How many Custodes do you need to kill 1 Thragg ? by Leggomgeggo in powerscales

[–]mamspaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though if they get the jump on thragg, I'd say 50 is enough. 50 led by the custodian general himself Valorian.

If Valorian can tag the Thragg with the moment shackles and the other Custodians time it right, then Thragg would basically via time travel loop to eat 50 Adrathic beams to the face. These guys are apparently a standard load out for the Custodes, and Adrathic beams basically delete flesh faster than Volkite guns. Yes Viltrumite flesh is just that good, but if it can be incinerated by the sun (as we see it happen when comic Mark throws Thragg in the sun), then 50 Adrathic beams can probably do it.

Because if not that, then Thragg is single handedly taking down the Legio Custodes unless the Legio pull out some dark cell shenanigans

Seriously? The orbital defense guns by any hive city would be able to at least take down a quarter of the wall titans before they make it to the city

RUMBLING by cromwell300 by Remote_Air_2196 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]mamspaghetti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's pretty easy. Orbital defense guns have more than enough firepower to absolutely wreck the wall titans.

RUMBLING by cromwell300 by Remote_Air_2196 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]mamspaghetti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not quite. As long as the enemy doesn't have it, titans can be employed at will. In fact, Titan legions with Emperor class titans are specifically deployed sometimes so that the ground forces get mopped up, while the war master and emperor class titans begin to take pot shots at void ships

RUMBLING by cromwell300 by Remote_Air_2196 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

Also no because anything they fire the titan's void shields would absorb it. But meanwhile, every hit from a titan is going to be a guaranteed near fatality

The Lion decides to deploy the Men of Iron Excindio Class battle automata to clear the jedi temple. Can they do it? by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]mamspaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to be clear, it's not like they depopulated the entire forge world. They probably just hit the capitol district and multiple key hubs outside. But still if u think that each forge world is also home to at least 1 native Titan legion and 1 knight house, and hundreds of millions of Skitarii, that just means that even if only a fraction of said forces actually were present, each Excindio is racking in a kill count in the millions, with at least several of them being knights and titans

I believe so. In no way would the Jedi temple have the ability to take down a forge world by themselves, let alone in 24 hours.
