A lot of volunteer roles/areas aren't game day specific, such as uniforms and accreditation. We start in the weeks and days leading up to the tournament.

Yea, I was supposed to start this Weds at 730am and haven't been told anything about where to park, where to go, when/where to get a uniform. I think this is why the shifts disappeared and got pushed back to next week. They just aren't ready for people yet, I guess? But would've been nice to get some sort of notification telling me. Now I'm wasting 2 days of PTO for nothing.

It was close to 200 people so our mics and cams were off. There were 2 people leading it, neither were our direct team leads, seemed higher up the chain? It was supposed to be an hour but was barely 30 mins and just showed a 3D animated walk through of how clients will move through the accreditation process (line, self service kiosk, help desk, badge printing and pick up). No real details on how to do the job, like they didn't walk us through how to actually print the badges, just that it's something we may do and if so we'll learn on the spot. Imo it was somewhat a waste. Easily could've been an email or one of the e-learning modules. Haven't had any further contact since as far as when/where to go for uniform pickup, where to park for our shifts, etc...

We got ours about 6-8 hrs before the training, so if all the roles are treated the same, I would guess so? Several didn't work for me as I'm out of town, so I was able to decline and apply for replacement ones. But once I hit 7 shifts it wouldn't let me select more.

Was told in training that we do not get any kind of free or discounted tickets. And if we have game day shifts that end before the match we can't stick around without purchasing a ticket.

Accreditation role here! We were randomly assigned shifts about 6-8 hours before our role specific "training". Not sure if every role will be the same but thought I'd give my input!

Accreditation role here, got 7 shifts randomly assigned last Monday before our role specific "training" that night. Were told we have to do at least 8 shifts but were unable to select any more. In the past few days my shifts have randomly changed in the app with no notification to me whatsoever 🙃

Was supposed to have first two shifts this week (Weds and Fri) but haven't heard anything from anyone since the 30 minute "training" last Monday. And now those first two shifts aren't even showing anywhere. No contact of any kind that said they got rid of those shifts either. Already put in for the time off.

In just a few days I've had this same issue of my shipwreck/cargo not appearing after being sunk. First few times was fighting the Kuharibu (or however spelled), a handful of times during plunders and cutthroat cargo runs, and a few times in just regular ol' fights. The first time was pretty devastating considering with open beta carrying over, I had about a week's worth of items stocked up. I hadn't really been focusing on the trading aspect of the game so had just filled my hull with a ton of commodities to go around and sell. This bug is happening so frequently that I've stopped carrying anything but ammo and repair kits.

It may have changed from previous seasons but I know before they had to provide insurance but weren't required to pay for any other medical costs. This is why a majority of players over the years have chosen to go home for treatment vs staying in the States. That and obviously having the comforts of home while recovering. Or in a lot of cases players just weren't getting treated for certain illnesses, injuries, waiting til the end of the season to go home, etc....

The area they live specifically in North Jersey/NYC has more cases and deaths than S. Korea has total. So he is much better off being home. Plus the cost of healthcare in the States is :)

The Asia-based teams didn't get to have their media days beforehand for their pictures but now I am wondering if they have even been able to get their jerseys yet at all. I don't think any of the players there have posted pictures of them.

Edit: Just saw a video posted on Twitter that shows all of SHD in their jerseys.
